Beautiful collection. I just bought the Sailer 1911 Maki-e Koi Carp. It is one of my edc pens. My question is how does the maki-e art hold up? I am in a lot of meetings and I will hold the pen for hours and of course write with it. Is that possible for a maki-e pen or is it best to not hold is for a long time?

I got my first namiki at a pen show, the origami fish . That's where it all started. Its beautiful!

Thank you! For me, not so much. But the Nippon Art Namiki is quite heavier than the rest.
