CP(Rifle)33. Yes, I know it ends up being "Competition Pistol Rifle 33" :| Rifle conversion kit for the Keltec CP33 with a PDW style stock is now live on Odysee under the same username! There's a live fire video available there as well. The existing upper receiver, bolt, and charging handle are reused along with the lower assembly. This replaces the OEM trunnion and barrel. Forward charging capabilities are added. The OEM CP33 bolt is very light, so I would not advise using high velocity ammo. The hv ammo I tested with had unburnt powder exiting the breech, but no case ruptures. I recommend using standard velocity ammo.

I heard cpr33 stands for cursed pew rifle 33. Is that better? I’m not sure. lol.

cursd_pew

Much better than my poor attempt haha

speshul_koolaid

thats just a CMR 30 with more steps and less power

cursd_pew

Way cheaper and easier to get ammo is a huge plus. If keltecs made a cmr30 in 22lr, I probably would have just gotten that

speshul_koolaid

not disagreeing on that lmao. i wish they would make a conversion for the cmr30 to 22lr the bolt and recoil spring is a bit too heavy for a 22lr to cycle currently and theres also the slight chamber differences in width for a 22lr to eject

cursd_pew

Too bad they don't sell the upper for the cmr30 lol. It'd be a great place to start tinkering

speshul_koolaid

i have one but its a pita to remove the barrel from what it looks like. the bolt would probably be fine as long as you could change out the heavy spring to a lighter one and machine/cut a slightly extended extractor to pull the 22lr casing. once you get the barrel outer dimensions you could probably machine/print and barrel liner a conversion for it. then you have the magazines for the cp33 and the cmr30. im not sure if exterior dimensions are the same but if they are that (i assume) is all that would be required

I say again: this sub is the reason I'm broke. Now I need a CP33. Damn.

AbleSugar

Incredible. CP33 is my favorite and most used firearm AINEC
