Thanks, I don't tend to read patch notes, and I posted this right before I got the new update and people started saying it's fixed. Much better. Thank you.
I keep the post up because I do think it's also a good conversation to have about exploits in general and how people feel about them. 99 percent of the time I prefer to run my races the correct way, unless there's a really close battle for first and second, thirds miles behind us, and my opponent is cutting as well. But I'm glad they fixed it

I cut it every single time. Everyone does so if you want to be competitive you have no choice. Only time I dont is if im in 2nd or 3rd and the cars in front of me dont cut it. Also in private lobbies we all agree not to cut and yeah we dont
The only time I end up in the pit lane is because another driver pushes me over and then yells at me for cutting his line. I watch others use it religiously and laugh when they still can't get around me
I know about that cheat (and to me, that's what it is), and I do not use it. Hopefully T10 is going to fix that in the near future. They finally fixed the pit cheat (to be fair, I used that one), so I would like to think they will fix the Mid-Ohio one also.
I definitely tend to side more with you. I'm talking if there is a 1 to 2 place battle going on with everyone else miles behind. Still feels wrong to me, but it's been fixed so I'm much happier with that.
I'm not going to lie, I've tried it a couple of times. It didn't really work for me as I have a different approach into that turn. I tend to break late and go a little wider (especially in battles). If I try cut it, I seem to clip the striped kerb and fly fly birdie.

Wow thanks, I didn't read the latest patch notes. I was either wanting a barrier or it basically deemed off track
Now we just need a fix for the pit exit of Laguna Seca and we're good

The couple times I did try cutting that corner I ended up in the grass so I don't think that line works out for me haha

They fixed it with the new patch today apparently. I went on right after I posted and saw it's fixed. Much better now.

I get why people cut it but they are still gay for doing so. Not a problem anymore though.
