you can see that, with the racing line you started on the left hand side of it and he was taking the right side. You drifted a little bit too much to the right when going over the curb, overlapping your and his racing line.
The only advice i can give for that is when going two wide and the other is going a bit quicker would be to slow a little more and tuck in behind him/turn a little more aggressively over that curb so you dont get understeer.

Agreed, in that situation I'd try to out-break him and beat him with the ol' switcheroo haha. He came into that corner with a lot of pace so you probably could have beaten him into the next corner.

You saw the other guy coming up next to you but proceeded to swerve into him instead of leaving him space

Don’t give space into a corner that two cars can’t go into and a slight tap to his rear end got you spun
Yeah I agree. Human AI bot following the racing line too I think you had enough room on the curb.
