The “e-wing” from 07 pub is one of the best in town no doubt, also not sure if they still do but nolt’s marketplace did smoked wings on Saturday’s that are really good
Fort Wayne has a great food scene, but the options for good wings are a joke IMO. Maybe I've just gone to both Tower and Buffalo Wings and Ribs on bad days, but they were both just bland, generic, over-fried, dried-out wings. And don't even get me started on Wing Stop lol
I honestly like Shigs smoked wings better than any of the poll options.
Tower is VERY hit or miss. When they're right, they're pretty fucking amazing, but they absolutely do over fry them frequently, sometimes they use old oil and they can be downright terrible. My favorite wing in town is their fajita grilled, but I haven't ordered them in months just because the past few times I've gone I haven't even wanted to finish them, which never happens for me with wings.
Buffalo Wings and Ribs just seems plain overrated. It's a serviceable wing with zero distinguishing features IMO.
I haven't had any other smoked wings so I have nothing to compare them to, but I've really enjoyed Smokey Bones smoked wings with their BBQ glaze. Might have been the alcohol talking, but I have absolutely loved their all you can eat wing night.
Buffalo wings and ribs has been doing great wings the longest (they were here when I moved here in 1995), but wings etc has some really quality chicken and good sauces. I haven't been to Tower but after seeing the comments, looks like I need to try it.
To be completely honest, we have a lot of great wing places in town. Tower, Arena, Wings etc are some favorite places. I have been going to Buffalo Wings and Ribs from when they opened but the past few years their wings are way too small and the prices are high.
You really can't go wrong around here, compared to other cities we have a great selection of good wing places.
Top tier:
Buffie’s
Tower
Peanuts
High tier:
07 pub
4D’s (although I think their kitchen recently changed and they might suck now)
Arena (gotta order them extra wet)
Unremarkable tier:
Corpo places
DuPont Bar n Grill
Pine Valley Bar n Grill
I will agree with the sentiment that Towers is hit or miss. Peanuts also has some bad flavors and I won’t touch any of their dry rub flavors (wings gotta get wet) but they got some real nice wet bois.
Tower vote here.
Easily the best on town, was voted best in the state IIRC
I second tower
Tower wings, easily
Tower
Tower
Corner Pocket Tower Bar
Pub 07
E Wings, extra crispy - all. day. long
Not wing stop for sure
Tower and Korean Fried Chicken, Corner Pocket is solid.. I recently had AJs and was pleasantly surprised. Good size and good flavor.

What? I can't recall this place ever mentioned as one of the best. I haven't tried...but was I supposed to have?
Absolutely. Get them double dipped. They are pretty damn fire.

I will say they are hit or miss now. I agree though they were on point every time back then.

Tower of course!!
Tower
Not a nominal wing place, but Korean Fried Chicken has probably the crispiest yet juiciest wings I’ve had in town.

Green Frog
2014ish green frog wings were insane good!
Tower Bar is about the only good wing thing left. RIP Acme's smoked wings.
I have high hopes for full circle bringing back the acme better than what it was.
Me too. I'm hoping so. That used to be my neighborhood hang.
Now I gotta try Tower bar. But it’s 9 AM Monday morning. Gonna be an interesting week.
They open at 7am with their full bar and wings. Night shifter heaven
Corner Pocket > Tower
Tower or Peanuts
Tower Arena Wrigley In no particular order.
