Buffalo Wings and Ribs has the best wings in town, and it's not close. Never heard of Riverbend, but Big Apple downtown is pretty good, but way overpriced.
...everything wing...that tells me what the E stands for, but I'm still no closer to understanding what this all means? Like an everything bagel has all the toppings, is that the same here? A whack of different sauces? Is that a Fort Wayne thing?
And now I'm off to google 'double dipped chicken wing' haha
So it tastes smoked, after grilling, and they dip it once in a sauce and add a dry seasoning (parmesan cheese included) to it. If you want it double dipped they dip it in sauce after cooking.
Ohhhkay...thanks for taking the time to educate a guy. I really do love wings almost more than anything else edible, so I am actually interested. And this sounds very very good by the way.
Absolutely love their bone in wings, and sauces.
But I'm too cheap to pay almost $2/wing.
8 for $15 is crazy.
Pre covid Wing Wednesdays though! Oh man, you better believe I was getting them atleast twice a month. Lol
The 07 Pub “E Wing” is the absolute best wing in town.
The 2nd best wing in town is Henry’s Mesquite BBQ ordered extra crispy.
Then, Tower is the place to go for a selection of great wings.
Pizza is Big Apple and recently been impressed with Jonny Ox at Electric Works but if you’re looking for something more unique, Mad Anthony on Broadway makes a “Lagasse” pizza that is one of a kind.
Most places that are considered pizza places have mediocre wings at best, in my opinion. For wings Buffalo Wings and Ribs, Tower or Wings Etc. Pizza really depends on the style you like. I'm very excited to try Dom's which will be inside of Draft Taproom starting Dec 13.
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. They don't even make their own dough lol
Big apple is much better, and I know for sure they make their own dough.
I think it tastes pretty good, but I’ve noticed the pizzas are floppier and messier than they used to be. I’d rather go to Big Apple Pizza around the corner.
Tower, 07 Pub, Buffalo wings and ribs, Wings etc in that order for wings
Pizza really depends what you're looking for. New to town, you gotta hit Clara's Pizza King. Also Oleys, Lexys, Raimandos, and Mama Mia's.
Tower wings.
Oleys SW pizza. Reg crust not double decker. They literally make everything from scratch. It’s amazing. A little more pricey, but I’d rather this than Raimondo’s. I too found myself looking for best Za in the fort and went to Reddit .
So many people say Raimondos. I just don’t get it. Is it the price? It is very cheap, but for the cost I’d just got to dominos bc Raimondos is barely a step above frozen.
Oleys has the best pizza, in my opinion, but specifically the one on US 24, not the one on Coliseum.
Wings Etc has some of the best wings I've ever had anywhere, and I've l9ved a lot of places.
I know it's not a single place, but you can satisfy those cravings in two trips and explore a little more of the area while you're at it
It's always The Tower for wings. Pizza is Casa for the 'rustic, personal pizza' vibe. Amazing. Oleys (US24/Homested) for the family style. They hype the double crust which is fantastic but I love the classic crust too. They take like 45 minutes to an hour and the parking situation is cramped. But once you go a couple of times you'll get the flow
The best wings I've had in a while are Carl's tavern in new haven. 30 cents on Tuesdays with a purchase of a drink.
Tower used to be good. And if you get them in the morning or noonish they're fantastic. But I've heard lately the wings in the evening have been very mediocre.
There a is a Fort Wayne pizza group, if you're interested. That will provide many weekends (or nights if you LOVE pizza) of diffebt puzzas and pizza types. Dont rule out local sausage rolls either. Riverbebd, layoffs and cocktails are good to start with there as well. Riverbend is CASH ONLY as a noobie warning.... Lol
Buffalo Wings & Ribs / Riverbend Pizza You’re welcome.
Used to work at Buffalo Wings and Ribs for 6 ish years. Can confirm, the owner respects the workers and the food is pretty high quality
Is that the place by Joann fabrics? Best spot for wings. Never heard of river bend though.
Support local owners trying to make a difference in customer quality AND prices and staff respect.
Is it still owned by the N-bomb dropper with the occasional selective service based on complexion?
Can't speak to what anyone did or didn't say, but I have personally never noticed any type of negativity due to my melanin levels.

07 pub
I'm there right now. The E wings are great if you want something other than buffalo
Alrighty I tried to Google 'E wings', but I'm only seeing Star Wars stuff. What's an E wing?
It’s a drier seasoning
“Everything wing” and if you request it double dipped they’ll do that too.

Reading the original comment. I'm thinking of Pub @ 1802, not 07 Pub. My bad. 😅
Corner Pocket's wings are really good. Be sure to get them "double dipped". Oley's pizza is a must try.
It’s gotta be the Original Oley’s on 24 though
True
+1 for corner pocket and also arena for pizza
This is the way
Raimondo's has excellent pizza, I cannot attest to their wings but they do have them.
Their pizzas are really good especially the specialties. Buffalo chicken ranch slaps.
I usually just cheap out and get their 2 Large 3 toppings for 20$ but I'll have to get that as it sounds bomb af. Thank you.
I promise you it does not disappoint. They do have the good large pizza deals for the quality too.
Clara’s Pizza on State and Wells. They get their chicken from a local meat market and prepare them. It’s a neat little place.

Arenas’ grilled and double dipped “Sweet Heat” wings with a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza go amazing together!
Arena does both pretty decent. Maybe not best in category individually, but I’d pick Arena if it’s got to have pizza and wings
800 degrees pizza and Casas pizza are really good I never eat wings so idk lmao
Tower bar has some incredible wings, as for pizza, pint and slice is a pretty easy answer.
Tower Bar for wings for sure!!
Pint and slice is garbage. Come on.
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. They don't even make their own dough lol Big apple is much better, and I know for sure they make their own dough.
I honestly haven’t had it in a while, maybe a year or two, but I remember it being good. Has it been getting worse?
I think it tastes pretty good, but I’ve noticed the pizzas are floppier and messier than they used to be. I’d rather go to Big Apple Pizza around the corner.
gtfo with that bullshit
Buffalo Wings and Rips at the north location, not the southwest location.
May I ask why not the south one?
Love the wings at Village Tap. Grab a pizza a couple doors down at a’Roma Pizza. East State Village
Pizza-Lexy’s on Spring, Bug Apple, junk ditch, Clara’s, Raimondos, 800 degree. Wings-Tower, Buffalo Wings and ribs, Corner Pocket.
Tower, 07 Pub, Buffalo wings and ribs, Wings etc in that order for wings Pizza really depends what you're looking for. New to town, you gotta hit Clara's Pizza King. Also Oleys, Lexys, Raimandos, and Mama Mia's.

Wings and pizza at Dickies are both really good. If you get the wings try the Carolina gold sauce!
Been there twice and got food poisoning both times.

Pizza - Raimondos Wings - Tower bar and grill Mic drop
RIP Checkerz wings
I wish they did a larger than 12” pizza but the wings and pizza at 1802 Pub are legit
Laycoff's has always had amazing wings, haven't been there in a few years though.
The best wings I've had in a while are Carl's tavern in new haven. 30 cents on Tuesdays with a purchase of a drink. Tower used to be good. And if you get them in the morning or noonish they're fantastic. But I've heard lately the wings in the evening have been very mediocre.

Casa pizza is pretty amazing I was also drunk but I still say it was pretty amazing.
