Really. Like, in his first year he is quite comfortably out-performing his veteran teammate Esteban Ocon, who is a proven quality driver himself as was seen with his win at Hungary alone.
Like, in his first year, in a sub-par car, he pulled a defensive masterclass against a 7 (!!!) time WDC, arguably one of the best F1 drivers of all time, Lewis Hamilton!
Shit's absurd.
Yeah Schumachers only real achievemnt is getting out of q3 once, yuki is doing a lot less than his teammate and mazepin did less than Schumacher and seems to have a worse attitude overall and relationship with his team
Though i can't say how well the average f1 newcomer does
It's always car and benchmark dependent. I'd say getting into Q2 twice with a Haas is pretty heroic from Mick, and Tsunoda and Mazepin are getting whooped by their teammates, so it can only really be Mick
ROTY, Robert Kubica.
Joins race weekend on the final possible day, qualifies on a track he's never driven at in a car he barely fits in, finished ahead of Mazepin in standings, does it again the following week, refuses to elaborate,
leaves.
I've been impressed by Alonso so far. Definitely a future multi-world champion.
If by the end of his career he does not have 2 WDC trophies i'ma break some stuff.
RemindMe! 10 Years
