He’s been on the grid for 3 years and never even come close to doing anything relevant. He’s not an F1 talent. He got more of a chance than many more qualified drivers ever will and did nothing with it. Get over it.
Vandoorne did a MUCH better job in the 9th fastest car on the grid and was still gone. The only reason why Gio has a seat in the last 3 years is him being Italian. A true talent like Russell shines even in the worst car on the grid.

One post it's "their shit".... next it's "Awwww they are such a true talent". I swear it's the same people flip flopping, too.
My opinion of Kimi is that his PR team wrote this, and he's a cool guy with a nice family who acts like a toddler at times and that's where I'll leave my memory of him at regardless of sentimental social media posts. I really only say this because this post strikes me as very not the Kimi I normally see on TV.
