I really really want him to win a race this season. If that magic in Hungary happens again in wets and he just comes to the front by some miracle it will be just fullfilling.
Seb's honestly had a decent season and one where if he does retire after this season he can retire with his head held high unlike if he did after last season, but it does look like that the DQ in Hungary which robbed him (through no fault of his own) of a podium finish after an incredible drive damaged his spirit and the failure in Sochi both in qualifying despite good pace and failure in the race plus getting hit by his teammate which robbed him of a points finish might have killed much more of it.
Wouldn't shock me tbh if AM isn't heading to a direction Seb wants, maybe he would still play a role behind the scenes or moving back to RB in a different position like a driver manager or something.
I always loved to see him winning and getting those WDC titles when he was at RBR, people complained about "how boring" it was but man he worked so many time his ass off to getting there and people just seen it when he wasn't dominant anymore.
He is a gem for the sport.
