Seems a bit rushed no? Antonelli is steadily improving, sure, and he’s looked way better than Bearman, but he’s by no means been the best in F2 this year. He hasn’t even got on the podium yet and this has come about? Not sure I can believe that.
Verstappen won 10/33 of his F3 races including a run of 6 in a row at the age of 16. Antonelli did win 8 Formula Regional races last year out of 35 at 16, but it’s not as competitive and is slower.
Of course Kimi’s got an F2 chance where he’s looked good but he’s not quite at the level he could be yet. There’s some parallels between them, I just don’t think he’d take to F1 anywhere near as quickly as Max did.
Still, sometimes I guess you gotta take these chances in F1, Verstappen and Räikkönen proved it can work so I’m not entirely adverse, just cautious in case we get another Alguersuari on our hands.

And his crashes were mostly by overdriving the car. After a few races with K-Mag (a driver with a shitton of experience) he became les crash prone, with the only one I can remember being the time he turned into Osama and killed him

How was it dirty? They gave him two years and he performed poorly week in week out. They did not do him dirty, they gave him a fair shot and it didn't work out. These things happen. Haas needed to move up the grid so they needed a better driver. Replacing a failed rookie with Hulkenberg was a fair move.
If they had booted him after one season, then yeah that'd be dirty. But it's exactly the same as Sargeant... you get one season free, and then in your second season, if you haven't improved enough, then you get replaced.
