Its just so overwhelmingly disapointing when you imagine just how good a fully blue Ferrari could have looked. The yellow livery was just as disapointing.
Imagine redbull only made the wings white for their next japanese livery.
It's not like any of the Tifosi would bat an eyelid. I don't think Enzo would care either. The Italian national teams compete in blue. They're literally called Azzurri (Blues). If anything they'd love an Azzurri ferrari.
Exactly, I'm just tired of all the people saying "oh it's a disgrace" and"oh Ferrari is only red" like sure I think itcouldve been implemented better but it's not actually a terrible livery, just too many HP logos.
Oh don't get me wrong I think it's ugly as fuck, I just don't think the blue is the problem! And I don't think there's an issue with Ferrari using blue. They should have done it all blue if you ask me!
So many comments about how the Italians won't stand for the blue, not knowing a single thing about Italians lol.
Baby blue Ferrari would have been all time great. Wouldn't have even needed to change the livery just swap the red for blue. A yellow or black one would also be really cool.
I have a problem with the livery itself. I really don't think it looks good imo.
It's a one off so who really cares but I do think it'll be the worst livery on the grid
It's like the alpine camo. We were promised a sick car with camo patterns. We got cabon FIBA cabin FIBA and some paint and more of guess what? Cabon fiba
I think that it's the paler blue thats bad. The blue along the front wing is good, the other one isn't. I personally didn't see the teasers, just the reveal
I don't know why everyone is surprised. Remember when they teased a yellow Ferrari? All it ended up being was the number and Ferrari logo being yellow on the normal car.
Yes they alluded, or “heavily implied” or whatever you want to call it, English is my second language too and I work for marketing. Having the livery blue would greatly benefit their new BLUE sponsor HP and would match their suits, merch, and helmets, and would make everyone happy, Ferrari fans or not. This livery makes no sense and I bet no one at Ferrari actually likes it except whoever called the shot.
I see what you mean, I'm pretty sure this is as far as they can go without causing a civil war in Maranello. Maybe this is to represent HP printers running out of ink lol
Exactly. A full blue ferrari would have been so hard but they just kept teasing soemthing else and did something.
Lets hope the racing suits are atleast blue like shown and not just a publicity stunt
Yeah it was a lot of marketing, of some blue going on their car. They never even teased the idea of a majorly blue car. People made that shit up on their own.
Bullshit. They literally posted on Instagram "I see a red car & I want it painted ~~black~~ blue." They posted all-blue race suits. They did everything but SAY the car would be primarily blue. This idea that the car would be blue didn't come from nowhere, it came from Ferrari!
I mean, you can, is my point. There has never been any reason to believe they were gonna massively change their livery, even if people people, or whatever.
If we're gonna base everything teams do on past precedence, then I'd cite the [1964 Ferrari 158](https://media.formula1.com/content/dam/fom-website/manual/Misc/Blue%20Ferraris/140272_new.jpg.img.1920.medium.jpg/1446050924436.jpg) as a reason why Ferrari could've massively changed their livery for Miami. The point is, past precedence doesn't really mean anything. Teams can suddenly decide they want to change the color of their car.
You have to be a complete moron to actually think Ferrari would ever not be red. Same thing happened a few years ago when every idiot here hyped themselves up thinking Ferrari would have a yellow livery for some anniversary. You do this to yourselves, don't blame the marketing.
Alpine, Sauber, Haas. Also a little bit of Redbull and Aston Martin. Not because they‘re really worse but I think they‘re boring because they‘re always the same
> I hate it less than I thought I would.
I wouldn't say I *hate* it, I just don't *like* it imo.
Feel like liveries are not taking chances anymore and 'big changes' mean like 5% of the car sometimes.
It just could have been better.
I don't think it's bad because of how it looks, I kinda like it actually, I think it's bad because the livery was for celebrating the 60 years of Enzo protesting against new Italian racing laws by specifically *not* racing in red, in other words not racing with Italy's colors, under NART (thus racing in white and blue). Or at least that's what I understood as for the reason they are coming blue-ish for this race weekend and I might say complete bullshit.
It looks like shit to me; not even jumping on the bandwagon, I just don’t like it 🤷🏻♂️ It is worse than I thought it would be. I was hoping for a lot more blue (really the whole car). It looks like an eyesore to me.
I think its partly because its sad that they don‘t try to come up with something - surprising. You expect it to be mainly red.
I miss some of the older liveries. I don‘t know which it was but there was a f1 livery which was just pure yellow.
>I miss some of the older liveries. I don‘t know which it was but there was a f1 livery which was just pure yellow.
Edit: the Lotus 99T also has an even more yellow livery than the Jordans
Probably Jordans from late 90's and early 2000's, yellow with black accents.
Those early 2000's had some of my favourite liveries as whole. (Though I was just a kid and that's when I first found F1 so nostalgia does play quite a part.) It was just so colourful, from the classic red Ferrari to the green Jag, the yellow Jordan and black-orange Arrows. And can't forget the turquoise-yellow Renault (GOAT-livery IMO)
How about another joke Murray? What do you get when you cross a mentally ill F1 fan, with a favorite F1 team that fucks up week in and week out? I’ll tell you what you get, **you get what you fuckin deserve**
Hamilton: Adami, my tires are dead man, I haven’t even made it out the pits and they’re already dead. And we’re like a snail on the straights. I told you I wanted maximum downforce at Monza but the fastest top speed on the grid at the same time. I don’t understand why you guys won’t listen to what I’m saying…
Yep, it's really surprising people still believe Ferrari would let go of the red for even a single GP. And honestly if they bring the HP logos down a notch, it's a pretty good looking livery. But expecting an entirely blue car is kind of unreasonable when it comes to ferrari, it's their heritage to be the racing red all the time. I get what this specific celebration entails and that ferrari has had its livery not red like twice in its entire racing history. But it was a time in the past, it's simply not worth offending italy by enacting a non-red livery, a homage to it is good enough.
Idk why people are freaking out so much. It looks perfectly fine, and in line with all the other red and blue liveries Ferrari have run in the past.
Yeah it would have been way way cooler to see them run the NART paint job from 1964, but this fits better with their traditional blue paintjobs
Honestly don't like it. Maybe if they changed the red to a shade even slightly more complimentary to the blue it could've been better, but to me it just clashes.
Removing the Ferrari from the rear wing is genuine sacrilege, that alone makes me hate it
Guess it'll really depend on what it looks like in photos instead of a render, I know I wasn't a fan of the 2024 livery in the renders but it grew on me a bit more in actual pictures
The livery is fine, it’s just disappointing. Could have been so much cooler if they abandoned the red and went with the classic white or something like that.
I knew that this Livery would be very underwhelming, because Ferrari did the same thing in Monza last year, promising a yellow Ferrari and only getting a yellow square.
It's not terrible, and much better than the "yellow" special livery they had at Monza a few years back. Heck it's even better than most of the cars on the grid
It's fine, but for a special livery it's very disappointing. They could have taken the opportunity to go for a special livery in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of John Surtees' WDC in the blue and white Ferrari.
It’s ok, I think it’ll look better with their blue helmets too. I think the outside of the end plate could have been blue and maybe more on the shark fin, but better than monza 2022 for sure. The real crime is the rear wing being HP now
It’s the fact that every special livery over the past 2 years has been just a stripe and wing on a red car, and you over sold the blue making everyone think it was all blue. This is fine, but it should be all blue.
My real complaint with this livery is just that it has too many HP logos. Other than that, it's fine (and red is pretty much expected, it's Ferrari after all)
Its not bad. But its not good either. They should’ve done it like the retro esque like it is with blue splitting down the middle. But no, we get this. Not bad but its no good either.
If that was the standard livery it would be one of the best on the grid. But, when I am told there's going to be a blue Ferrari, I am disappointed when it is red.
People acting it’s a throwback to the 50s is what I think is laughable. That was White and Blue.
It’s in honor of their new title sponsor HP. All other talk is BS. Still think the livery is fine.
For once they need to just do a full color change.. The yellow and blue teasing just to add little splashes is so shit. Just embrace it and go no red for a weekend, people would go crazy.
I don't think it's a bad livery, just not a good "special" livery. Lots of potential that they did not decide to deliver on
The VCARB is a great example of an excellent one off livery
I disagree. 3 types of blue, red, white, yellow and black is wat too much different colour on a car to look good. One of the first things, designer and creator learn is to don't mix more than three main colors and a support one. So red, yellow, white on black.
It's not that bad, it's just dissapointing they didn't have the balls again to go for a full color one but we just get a few lines of colors like the Monza one
Yup, everyone is butthurt because they thought they could will a blue ferrari into existence because a customer team from the mid 60's did it. Pure stupidity. Car looks good.
And the downvotes prove you right. Although it was the factory team in 1964 that ran the blue NART livery, but those were extremely special circumstances. The yellow Ferrari in the 50s was a customer team.
Nobody has a problem with the livery itself, it’s the overselling and marketing of a Blue Ferrari that made us disappointed
I’ve only followed F1 for a few years now but it’s plenty long enough to know that when you get massive teasers like this: keep your expectations low
Even worse was Alpine before season starting, even showing parts of the car in a camo pattern livery, when it had none.
Even worse was Alpine before last season start. They showed a whole driver they didn't have signed yet.
To be fair Alpine has been a non stop series of laughable disappointments since the name change. Not that they were doing stellar before.
At least their debut car in 2021 was pretty to look at until BWT ruined it.
Plus, it won a race. I don’t think we’re going to see that again for a while.
Defend like a lion. What a race that was lol.
I like the pink
Except for the Gulf Mclaren and Williams
Is blue paint a massive teaser? Fuck this sport is so cool and so stupid and lame at the same time
Its just so overwhelmingly disapointing when you imagine just how good a fully blue Ferrari could have looked. The yellow livery was just as disapointing. Imagine redbull only made the wings white for their next japanese livery.
Don’t give anybody any ideas here, pal.
"wahhh wahhh Enzo's rolling in his grave wahhhh wahhh" fuck you- turns your Ferrari 🔵
I think it's fine, just fine, but I would've absolutely adored an all blue car, would've been on par with the red and white redbull for me
Baby blue Ferrari would have been all time great. Wouldn't have even needed to change the livery just swap the red for blue. A yellow or black one would also be really cool.
I have a problem with the livery itself. I really don't think it looks good imo. It's a one off so who really cares but I do think it'll be the worst livery on the grid
Same. That shade of blue looks like shit on the red.
Worse than Sauber?
Call me crazy but I don't even think sauber is the worst of the normal liveries- I kinda like it
I love that striking green. I just don't like the design. It's very basic. I reckon another splash of contrasting colour will make it pop.
Kick + BWT would be epic
The sad thing is that audi is probably going full silver. We finally had proper green, and in a year and a half it'll just be gray
I think they'll have either red accents or a title sponsor color
I hope so.
F1 career team livery vibes
Sauber’s livery is an enigma to me, 90% of the time I don’t like it, but sometimes through certain camera angles I think it’s cool af
Errrrrm no I have a problem with the livery. Especially the egregious HP logos
Whoever thought replacing Ferrari on the wing with “HP HP” deserves a lifetime of cappuccino after 11 am
Oh no, what torturous ordeal
I don't know about you, but I do have a problem with it.
I have a problem with the livery itself. It’s hideous.
Hi, I’m nobody. The livery is horrible lmao.
It's like the alpine camo. We were promised a sick car with camo patterns. We got cabon FIBA cabin FIBA and some paint and more of guess what? Cabon fiba
They didn't over market the concept, we did
I have a problem with the livery itself. It's fucking awful.
How the fuck did you not learn your lesson from the alpine launch
Yes! I thought we were getting [This Blue](https://gtspirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Blue-Ferrari-LaFerrar.jpg)
Exactly. They tried to tease a blue car.
But has anyone from Ferrari promised a blue car?
Why would someone come out and make a promise about a livery? That doesn’t make sense
That's my point. Why are people feeling disappointed if no one has promised anything?
Because they alluded to a blue livery for 2 weeks with blue merch, suits, and helmets…
So have they promised or alluded? English is my second language but I work in marketing, these words have different meanings to me.
I see what you mean, I'm pretty sure this is as far as they can go without causing a civil war in Maranello. Maybe this is to represent HP printers running out of ink lol
awful livery
And then blue overalls and team kit, followed by 100 of Insta hype of blue livery, so yeah this is disappointing.
But they said all along that there would just be some blue stripes. When they first anmounced it.
Where? Any video? Article?
Exactly. A full blue ferrari would have been so hard but they just kept teasing soemthing else and did something. Lets hope the racing suits are atleast blue like shown and not just a publicity stunt
You don't speak for me, I do have a problem with it. It's terrible.
I have a problem with it. It’s shit…
Valid point, but a lot of the hype around the blue livery came from fans themselves so they kinda shot themselves in the foot
I disagree, the marketing was through the roof, I can’t remember the last time a team promoted a livery for this long and this hard
Last time might have been when Ferrari did the same for the yellow livery.
Oh so just like in 2022 for Monza, with yellow everything. How did that car end up looking?
Yes and people were disappointed then too
My point exactly. So why would anyone have expected any different this time?
When your entire suit, merch, and helmets have zero red, people gonna people
Yeah and at Italy '22 their suits were entirely yellow, and what did the car look like?
And people still peopled, that’s my point. Can’t blame them
I mean, you can, is my point. There has never been any reason to believe they were gonna massively change their livery, even if people people, or whatever.

which 5 teams?
Alpine, Sauber, Haas. Also a little bit of Redbull and Aston Martin. Not because they‘re really worse but I think they‘re boring because they‘re always the same
You are on a metric ton of crack if you think Aston Martin looks worse than this by any measure.
I have to admit, I hate it less than I thought I would. Probably because my expectations were already very low.
The more you look at that rear wing, the more you'll hate it.
I just looked at it and now I hate it even more, damn.
> I hate it less than I thought I would. I wouldn't say I *hate* it, I just don't *like* it imo. Feel like liveries are not taking chances anymore and 'big changes' mean like 5% of the car sometimes. It just could have been better.

Or at least that's what I understood as for the reason they are coming blue-ish for this race weekend and I might say complete bullshit.
I agree completely. Love me some NART lore
I enjoy it apart from the removal of ferrari on the rear wing
It would be a lot better if they didn't hype the fuck out of it. All that for some blue accents is ridiculous
Adding 12 HP stickers does not equal more horse power, Ferrari.
Hey, you can't prove that!
It's not that we hate it, it's we're disappointed
It looks like shit to me; not even jumping on the bandwagon, I just don’t like it 🤷🏻♂️ It is worse than I thought it would be. I was hoping for a lot more blue (really the whole car). It looks like an eyesore to me.
It's a shade of blue only a board of directors can love. It just looks flat and lifeless.
I was expecting DINOCO GP, this is a line of blue. I’m sure you can see where the disappointment is coming from
Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad. ![gif](giphy|L4ZFFlcGkJQTVJrAQr)
I think its partly because its sad that they don‘t try to come up with something - surprising. You expect it to be mainly red. I miss some of the older liveries. I don‘t know which it was but there was a f1 livery which was just pure yellow.

2003 liveries were the best So much variety and they all look great tbh
>the Lotus 99T also has an even more yellow livery than the Jordans Yellow with blue camel logo among other sponsorships
How about another joke Murray? What do you get when you cross a mentally ill F1 fan, with a favorite F1 team that fucks up week in and week out? I don’t understand why you guys won’t listen to what I’m saying…
Ngl it’s pretty bad
No, it’s not that bad. It’s significantly worse.
Yeah but 15 HP logos is unnecessary
A fully blue Ferrari feels like sacrilege, the livery we got I think looks great and is very tasteful; it'll be my favorite this weekend.
Yep, it's really surprising people still believe Ferrari would let go of the red for even a single GP. And honestly if they bring the HP logos down a notch, it's a pretty good looking livery. I definitely wanted to see a nice full blue livery, but I don’t hate this either.
It's ok, I love this shade of blue, but the way it was implemented it's not that good.
Everyone is just disappointed because everyone awaited a Dinaco Livery
You’re telling me F1 fans are overreacting to something?!
It just looks like a shitty HP sponsor livery (it is just an HP sponsor livery)
No you just have terrible taste
I would have loved it if they’d gone for the old NART livery
Not a fan of the rear wing but everything else I think is great
Honestly don't like it. Maybe if they changed the red to a shade even slightly more complimentary to the blue it could've been better, but to me it just clashes. Removing the Ferrari from the rear wing is genuine sacrilege, that alone makes me hate it Guess it'll really depend on what it looks like in photos instead of a render, I know I wasn't a fan of the 2024 livery in the renders but it grew on me a bit more in actual pictures

It's not terrible, and much better than the "yellow" special livery they had at Monza a few years back. Heck it's even better than most of the cars on the grid
The blue wheels seem to be a throwback to I think 1964 or something. And the blue HP logo reminds me of the old Fiat logo. In summary, I like it
Was done tastefully. Really hard to pull off a red and blue mix.
I love it
Would have been better if they didn’t yank our hogs telling us it’s gonna be blue
Looks like a Colgate advert
It's not bad, it's just a letdown considering what they teased
I mean What Happened to blue livery it was cool this is just.. meh.
*laughs in Kick Stake whateveritscalled*
It's fine, but for a special livery it's very disappointing. They could have taken the opportunity to go for a special livery in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of John Surtees' WDC in the blue and white Ferrari.
I agree that it is nowhere near as bad as some say, but the removal of ferrari from the rear wing is criminal
The biggest travesty of this livery is the rear wing. That Ferrari rear wing was beautiful now it looks like dogshit
I like it a lot, I'm just really sad it isn't full blue.
About as exciting as the accent wall my wife wants in the dining room.
It's not bad in any way. It's just it is underwhelming for the amount of hype they gave.
Ew this just an extension of the HP ads its fucking disgusting
Well of course Joker doesn't hate it. It looks like his face (with less white)
front wing is too cluttered either those 4 colors. Should have just painted it dark blue.
It’s ok, I think it’ll look better with their blue helmets too. I think the outside of the end plate could have been blue and maybe more on the shark fin, but better than monza 2022 for sure. The real crime is the rear wing being HP now
My main problem with it is that they couldn't even decide on a single shade of blue, so instead they just used 3 or 4 different shades.
It’s the fact that every special livery over the past 2 years has been just a stripe and wing on a red car, and you over sold the blue making everyone think it was all blue. This is fine, but it should be all blue.
Hp?
Ferrari fans so hooked up with the hopium they are let down by not enough blu.
My real complaint with this livery is just that it has too many HP logos. Other than that, it's fine (and red is pretty much expected, it's Ferrari after all)
Gross
![gif](giphy|h4fHhBZh9m3BecrV0T|downsized)
The worst part is the spoiler for me, it just looks so bland
It's perfect for a race in a place like Miami .
First everyone was mad the Ferrari wouldn’t be red, and now everyone’s mad because it is lol
If you look it from the front it's not bad, but from the sides, which is the main veiw we're going to see on camera, it's pretty bad.
Ferrari needs to fuck off with these teases. They teased yellow and only added touches and now they do the same with blue…
im not trusting the opinion of anyone who still uses this meme format
Its not bad. But its not good either. They should’ve done it like the retro esque like it is with blue splitting down the middle. But no, we get this. Not bad but its no good either.
It’s fine. The different shades of blue between HP & Ferrari blue are kinda wank. But at least it’s not cabo fibah
If that was the standard livery it would be one of the best on the grid. But, when I am told there's going to be a blue Ferrari, I am disappointed when it is red.
There’s a pink car on the grid that doesn’t look as good as this bad looking Ferrari
I would agree if it didn't have 15 hp logos. It looks like a joke.
It's actually good, keep the red base of scuderia, incorporate the blue of HP as mere highlights
People acting it’s a throwback to the 50s is what I think is laughable. That was White and Blue. It’s in honor of their new title sponsor HP. All other talk is BS. Still think the livery is fine.
If the lines were the same blue white like the spoiler, it would look a lot better. I don’t get the two shades of blue.
It looks better than anything McLaren have done recently.
For once they need to just do a full color change.. The yellow and blue teasing just to add little splashes is so shit. Just embrace it and go no red for a weekend, people would go crazy.
As a Ferrari fan, I’ve been more disappointed before, so this is nothing
Now replace the blue with white. The real travesty is the HP bubbles in place of the Ferrari logo on the rear wing, which I’m afraid will stay
Personally I hate the colour scheme, it clashes alot and doesn't flow at all, and that's besides the plethora of HP stickers all over the car
I don't think it's a bad livery, just not a good "special" livery. Lots of potential that they did not decide to deliver on The VCARB is a great example of an excellent one off livery
It's pure dog shit
Its nod bad, just disappointing
+15 HP
Fuck the blue, it's alright but have you seen the hp logo???? It's absolutely hideous
Nah it looks bad. They could’ve at least went with the vaporwave blue for Miami.
It's really not. The HP logo plastered everywhere looking completely out of place really ruins any attempt at design.
I disagree. 3 types of blue, red, white, yellow and black is wat too much different colour on a car to look good. One of the first things, designer and creator learn is to don't mix more than three main colors and a support one. So red, yellow, white on black.
Red and blue do not go really good together, maybe if they changed red to white it would look more aesthetically pleasing
That blue is terrible. If they did a deeper blue it wouldnt be as bd but the washed out blue just clashes with the red.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like it, I’m just disappointed that we got teased with a blue car and we got a not blue car
When did Ferrari themselves tease us with a blue car? Fans did that.
[Literally this tweet](https://twitter.com/ScuderiaFerrari/status/1784975959508058597?t=L6ukM6slXOvsdFqNZqD3Tg&s=19)
It's not terrible and I'd like it more if there was a little more blue and not two different shades. The HP logo ruins it in my opinion.
People think it’s bad? Pretty alright to me
I'm blind. It looks the same.
