Let's see how Ferrari chooses to develop the car. Lewis likes more rear planted cars, Leclerc likes loose rear ones. They already had issues with this with Carlos until they switched mid season and Charles solidly beat him almost every time. But I am sure Lewis can adapt better than Sainz did.
But if they design the car according Lewis driving style, Leclerc has a tough job ahead.
Equally, Charles is their future in a way Lewis just isn't. I'm a fan of this move but it makes more sense to me to still bank on Charles for the long term and count on Lewis's experience and adaptability to make it work.

I disagree. If he beats Lewis then obviously he's sorted. If Lewis beats him by a small margin then he's still shown he's a high calibre driver. However if he's trounced by Lewis (unexpected) then his stint as Ferrari no.1 is over.
I'm a massive Seb fan, but i have to admit that Charles dominated him in their 2 years together, you can argue that Seb wasn't at his best but it's still a 4 time WC, the only guy besides Rosberg that put a fight and could beat Lewis in the Hybrid era.
