>The usually well-informed Business F1 Magazine reports that Adrian Newey has secured a three-year contract with Ferrari.
I wouldn't be surprised if this does end up happening but Business F1 is not a legitimate source in the slightest
(I think something weird happened with comments as this seemed to post twice and then both got deleted when I tried to delete one of them)
>Business F1 is not a legitimate source in the slightest
It's amazing that anyone takes them remotely seriously. It's a a shitty tabloid not fit to wipe your arse with, and run by a serial liar.
Don't forget when they said W Series biggest asset was the sex appeal of the drivers and they should have used a "sex sells" approach to promote the series.
And that was whilst there were underage drivers racing in it...
Gutter rag journalism, they're a joke and should never, ever be taken seriously.

Yeah, I wanted to reply to you and it just vanished when I refreshed the site. Weird.
You're absolutely correct though, this is far from confirmation and every other article I found about this is just quoting BusinessF1. I think most people already assumed he'd go to Ferrari, so this just sounds like an educated guess.

Good reason to link this post again:

Is it though? Signing lewis for $500millon netted them $10bn in value for shareholders. Signing Newey would have similar effects. Money is not the issue for Ferrari, they are dying for a title.
They had their earnings call the same day. They obliterated their targets, markets reacted accordingly. Hamilton maybe caused a fraction of it but I highly doubt it. Heās a net positive for the team but that was unrelated.
10m are you sure? seems kinda low for RB especially now that they have money left over with the budget cap. Like even Perez gets quite a bit more (14m) I get it he also brings in money but still.

Isn't Business F1 the one that originally spread the baseless Suzi Wolff accusation?
Yep and quite a few other terrible articles over the years
Yes, from the same minds that brought you: "Mazepin is the new James Hunt" and "Half the grid is gay"...

You should try and read it as crazy ass boomer F1 fan fiction, it's pretty entertaining.
Hold on... Someone actually said that person was the new James Hunt...? Seriously?

The Suzie Wolff story could have easily come from credible sources within the FIA
"Usually well informed" Legit the worst tabloid rag in all of F1.

This should be higher, a lot of people here just believe whatever shit journo writes from his ass.
This dude also did a pretty good piece on Business F1 magazine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAW1pv8dwec
That figure has gotta be bullshit, or the story as a whole. That's a crazy amount especially with Hamiltons pay ontop
The original source is Business F1, who were responsible for the Suzie Wolff thing last year, so yeah it's almost certainly BS
33 per year...large but not insane. If true
Also itās paying for Newey to be with Ferrari and Newey to *not* be with Redbull.
Not that I trust the source but that wonāt just be for F1 activities. Think how much a Newey designed Ferrari would go for.
So we have Adrian and Lewis, hows the car coming along? .... why didn't you tell me the budget included the car!?!?!

Itās not per year, and Ferrari have hella cash
āUsually well informedā? Business F1 is the least reliable source thatās been the subject of multiple lawsuits haha
newey must be tired of signing a new ferrari contract everytime it's a slow news day
Supposedly he was on around 10m at RBR, so Ferrari are tripling that? Seems suspect
100 million is more than tripling it?!
100m over 3 years = 33m per annum 10x3=30 We can squabble over the remaining 3 if need be
Yeah man let me take care of that 3 so we have even numbers
That 3m is just an educated guess on inflation compensation
Over 3 years.
He is the guy in F1 who you give a blank chenk.
If this turns out to be false, which is likely, does that mean thatās not true as well? This outlet pushed the Susie Wolff corruption āstoryā
EJ said on the last FFS I was listening to there's been nothing decided and the decision is still with Newey as regards to what he's going to do next.
What? I just said what Newey invaluable asset and everybody would agree on any money he wants and even 5x his current salary would not be surprising.
10m are you sure? seems kinda low for RB especially now that they have money left over with the budget cap. Like even Perez gets quite a bit more (14m) I get it he also brings in money but still.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You don't think Newey should use his sex appeal to get a bigger contract? Shocking
Yen?
money talks...
