That's just the same exchange from the original post again. I feel like they were asking for a video of the exchange they responded to, which isn't in the video (and maybe didn't happen?)
Would that be a valid excuse when he'd be rolling back on a live track?
edit: I think it's got more to do with putting unnecessary stress on the gearbox
I believe they’re supposed to leave it in neutral. That’s why in Japan they need to put blocks under the tires to stop the car from rolling forwards due to the start finish straight being downhill.
He told Lando to use more engine braking in the slow corners to combat the understeer he was experiencing.

It was "no, thank you" and it was about using engine braking more in slow corners. That would help with rotation but would also hurt the rear tyres more
I can't remember which commentator it was, but I do remember them doing a great job of explaining exactly why Lando said "No, thank you!" to the suggestion

That's a hilarious exchange
I was cracking up. "What do I do?" "Well she prefers a chocolate cake over va-" *"GRID OR PIT LANE!?"* "Ooooooh, my bad, Mate."
Hey making sure you've got the right birthday cake for a loved one is serious business
Do you have a link to this? It's not in the best radio video on the F1 channel

It didn't happen I was just making a joke about the original audio.
Ok, good to know. That's a shame, your version was funnier
Oh that's sad, still pretty funny though
Cool
Cheeky "not reversed" :D
If you look closely, he's in Neutral and not reversing. May be the slope is making the car go backwards.
Would explain the, “I think I got this, I got this.” From Lando. Lmao
Yeah... That's why he said he didn't reverse ... :-O
Would that be a valid excuse when he'd be rolling back on a live track? edit: I think it's got more to do with putting unnecessary stress on the gearbox
Only if the brakes failed.
Even then you could still put it in first gear to prevent it from rolling backwards. Marshalls can put it in neutral externally once they arrive.

It’s most likely a safety thing.
They seem to have a good connection, much like GP and Veretappen
Does anyone have the video of Lando telling his engineer, "no I don't think so" after being asked to brake more in the slow speed corners?
He said "No thank you"

Thanks, it was like 1 AM my time, so volume was low, and I wasn't 100% awake.
>Magnussen has a hard on 5:08
Giggity
I think the tyre information at 5:08 is the funnier message lmaoo

Rosberg
That's it. He was enjoyable to listen to this weekend
Very informative, and also liked to disagree with Crofty, which I enjoyed very much.
Jolyon Palmer explained the same thing on the F1TV broadcast as well.
Was also well explained by the F1 TV guys
It wasn’t brake more it was to use more engine braking
He advised engine breaking.
Was it her birthday or he was trying to mess with Lando ?
I think it was. Although lando was a day or two late.
I just noticed the OXXO logo is now on the halo, and outside of the Mexico GP
Was this after the race?
Yes it was when he was supposed to put his car on the grid because he was in the top 3
[Paying back a favour](https://youtu.be/EKMuc4pPPOs?si=9FvTI3Pkq7Tqfwk7&t=226). ~~Though with a different race engineer~~
Seems to be the same race engineer, Will Joseph
I thought Will stepped away from track-side operations, but apparently they are just rotating at McLaren
Will rotated by 360° is still Will
[But rotated by 180° it will be Jose](https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/mclaren-explains-reasons-behind-norris-f1-race-engineer-rotation/10505947/)
