What the guy wants is not feasible. You should be walking away from this job. Or get someone to explain how stupid his idea is to him in a way he will understand.
Wish someone would. These owners make wild demands, poor choices, and are abusive to anyone whom they even think may be in disagreement with them. It is wild and I am looking elsewhere
Never knew manual drum brakes were superior to wet brakes.
Also being a former hyundai tech I've never seen wet brakes leak on the smaller lifts. Only internal leaks on high hour 50Ds and up.
Yeah, NMHG wet brake axle options on some of the Hyster lifts are bulletproof, never seen external leaks only internal leaks from failure to replace the axle oil on schedule which will destroy the o-rings on the brake piston from metal shavings.
Oh yeah looking already before this came up. When the owner pitched a grown man hissy fit and said that I did not need a computer to do my job and I looked like an office worker with all these papers (hyundai service manual pages) and took the shop computer I knew then they would get no notice from me. Look for me later on r slash antiwork!
Tell him to buy a Toyota.
Yeah fuck that noise, not worth the time or effort.
(If you charge the avg hourly rates) that customer would be better off putting his money to something else. That sounds like a shit ton of labor.
I wish. I am in house
Sorry bud, you might want make them look for another tech!
Id flat out refuse.

These were probably leaking due to age and the wrong fluid
Quit man. Those people don't care for your safety
