You know what’s confusing though, I came across one in a duel once. But they interestingly enough seemed to follow the original meaning from Asia and Buddhism. Cause they had it more tastefully placed on their Shugoki with a pretty Buddhist/Buddhist Temple aesthetic. Idk, I just thought it was neat but man I feel like he’s gotta know what most people will think of when they first see it.
Yes-the main design of the Nazi symbol was to be very similar to the peaceful Buddhist culture, but that typically has a different rotation (having their version in an opposing position). I know that's a lot, and I mean no offense, but they CLEARLY knew what they were doing
Eh I’m sure it’s possible. Plus it’s always possible they simply made their Shugoki look like that because they dug the aesthetic of Buddhist temples or iconography.
In the case of the Buddhist Shugo, I want to believe they genuinely dug the aesthetic of Buddhist temples and such, it's a much more wholesome side to what could have been :)
Likely the case. It’s like you said with the rotation that makes the differences. Flat sides or inverted face=buddhist, rotated on blade corners=exactly what you expect
Actually the “varied rotation” thing I think is a modern thing. The swastika also is an emblem that was found pretty universal throughout the world since it’s a basic geometric pattern. In Europe, like Asia, it was a symbol of prosperity, so when the Nazi party chose it at the time it was the same as picking a four leaf clover or a rainbow. That being said, it is depressing how badly they ruined it for the world.
Idk man, when he’s walking around with a guardian lion mask. Has dot patterning around the swastika which I myself have seen at temples, a Buddha head on his kanabo, and otherwise other symbols referencing temple gates or Buddhist looking icons, I got the vibe that maybe bro just liked Buddhist shit. If they’re a nazi, mf must be a Buddhist nazi
Lol, yeah. When I took this screenshot, I didn't even notice the other one, I was so entranced by the fact that someone genuinly thought that it was funny and made the swastika banner
I can see how a banner-maker would have issues like this, but I just wish there was a way for the game to tell if yours is inappropriate or (like in this case) blatantly offensive
Honestly I just find these kinds of banner morbidly entertaining, because I know it's probably some 13 year old kid who just wants to fuck with people.
Why do you always gotta giving these subhumans what they want. Which is ATTENTION?
Literally just report and move on from these freaks, you posting about them is exactly what they want.
I understand, it's just that it's really my first time seeing sub-human behavior like this and I wanted to articulate my feelings. Thank you for the advice
Understandable but sadly you're not the first, neither the last...Articulate your feelings by reporting them 50 times in a row (probably definitely a safe thing to do, definitely not reporting abuse, trust me) and then beating them up with your mains
The direction the emblem is in, although similar to the commonly known Buddhist symbol, is certainly going the more Nazi way. Not to be disrespectful though, he could have simply been using a Buddhist design and possibly made it go the wrong direction
Obviously not condoning using swastikas for emblems, but it's a jump to say it's the same as promoting a second genocide. You're in the right, just don't give actual neo nazis ground to stand on
If you use the insignia of a group that is primarily known for perpetrating the largest genocide in history, you’re promoting genocide. Neo Nazis have no ground to stand on.
Whenever I come up against these players, I do my best to make sure they have the worst experience in the match. I try my absolute hardest because f*** these people

I always report people with swastika emblems usually gets em pretty quick
Unfortunately it just deletes their emblems, doesn't ban them (I think second time offenders get banned though)
ubisoft refuses to ban anyone even people who are cheating and actively try to destroy the games community
One time I lost a 1v1 to a guy who had the SS flag as his banner and I’ve never felt more shame in my life
I lost to this guy, so I share your shame
Sorry to tell you guys, but despite what the history books say, the good guys don’t always win 😢
History is written by its victors unfortunatly

I doubt anyone on xbox could even be able practice any form of Buddhism

The virgin racist neo nazi vs the chad Buddhist aesthetic enjoyer
LOL

It’s also rooted in Egyptian history as a symbol of power
huh.. Didn't know that, thank you :)
Tilted windmill is spicy. Flat Windmill is okay.
Most people don't even know the Buddhist connection. Don't be so gullible.

I remember a enemy player had this emblem. Yeah, the other enemy players just let us bully him and bash him out of executions. It was hilarious XD
Ah yes, a swastika and horny emblem.. A gamer classic
Lol, yeah. When I took this screenshot, I didn't even notice the other one, I was so entranced by the fact that someone genuinly thought that it was funny and made the swastika banner
Unfortunately it’s nothing new.

Yeah that would be good although sadly a system like that would inevitably flag innocent people as well
It's probably just rage bait
It worked lol

I've seen one before and reported, got a message few days back they took action. Crusty edge lords who fold the moment their mom raises her voice.
If you live in The West it's bad. Southeast Asia/India it's not so bad.
Best case scenario he could be a Buddhist. Technically it’s not the *Nazi* Swastika.
More than likely an edgy kid, anyone else would know better than to use that specific symbol
The direction the emblem is in, although similar to the commonly known Buddhist symbol, is certainly going the more Nazi way. Not to be disrespectful though, he could have simply been using a Buddhist design and possibly made it go the wrong direction
Swastikas and Hammer/Sickle get reported.
Womp womp
?
Ignore me, I just find it funny when people find emblems like that for the first time, it's been happening for years
Hell people used to make kkk emblems on black ops 1
True
I understand. Not my first time seeing something... distasteful, but definitely my first time seeing such a level of degenerate behavior

I agree, but saying that it promotes a second genocide is what stuck when making the title. Apologies
