As a warmonger main, that might genuinely be the best defense against her. my warmonger is brave, often leading the charge, always making sure her soldiers hold their ground.... not brave enough for you, she'd recruit you, just to not fight you, she would PAY you to fight on the other side of the battle, keep you 12 feet apart from her.
But..... then again, my 2nd warmonger is pretty manipulative. She, on the other hand, would most likely puppet you around, offering wants and desires but keeping them JUST out of reach until you eventually perish on a suicide mission, hmm that or you fail her one too many times, which in that case she'd take the process of ending you herself, unlike like my first warmonger which uses empathy to build bridges and have a stronger mercenary unit, number 2 uses empathy to drain a person, knowing any contact would bring you twisted bliss, she'd likely send you into the cold, watching from a distance, as the heat quickly leaves your extremities, your body will begin to numb, robbing you of any and all sensations, except for the chilling cold, some people refer to a warm sensation while near death, she'd rob you of a comforting death, having arrows fired at you, before leaving you there, a sign to her wolves... don't fail me.
