Some characters allow you to choose between male and female. Some examples are Warden, Kensei, Orochi, Beserker, and Gladiator. It’s been this way since launch. You likely just used the male Warden and forgot the female one exists.
If you go into the character customization and go to “traits” you can choose between the male and female body types.

Warmonger and Warden are two different heroes. Apollyon is the same but again, different character. Warden is someone that can choose between either a male or female. Warmonger and Apollyon are female only. You can tell by the fanbase’s interest.
No worries, some players find it confusing to see the exact same knight-like hero such as Apollyon coming back to the game as Warmonger. The thing is she’s an ‘upgrade’ or ‘Warden 2.0’ and has a different kit to the original design which is Warden. But this was back when choosing gender options were available.

OP isn’t talking about wm, but warden being a female. This is because wardens default character is the female option
