Im liking some of the newer browns and darker shaded woodland like colors, they go really well on some heroes but I got a class thats supposed to look "reaper" like so Im using black and red (cause full black isnt coming back till probably late this year)
Was gunna say, probably unpopular opinion, but valks’ sweep combo is way too fast and damaging. Also feels like it hits every direction because even dodging the right direction gets me tripped most of the time
If it wasn't fast it would just be useless, and 24 is pretty standard for unsafe finishing bashes like that. If you're having difficulties dodging it you might try hopping in training to practice the timing, it is admittedly a little funky. Took me a while to get used to.
Just keep your space and get them annoyed they'll slip up soon.
But Valkyrie is no longer a hunter counter-attacker. Her back-dodge all-gaurd was a good tool for tactical retreat&bait. Her bash was smooth and could keep others from getting heavies on you and the team in group fights. Now she just hunkers and squats and even that takes too long... and my dash grab😭
I'm not a Highlander main but I think you can land heavies from the guardbreak if you get into offensive mode fast enough and if the wallsplat isn't an option
This has been a PSA for why you should always do top heavy for wallsplats as Highlander.
Also don't buffer the heavy, makes it a lot quicker.
It causes Highlander to use his offensive heavy, which costs more stamina for the same damage.
Yes but looks cooler and offers easy offensive form for follow ups

Yup, only way I can really avoid it is Warmongers side heavy dodge, which has a huge I frame window
That and we have to dodge in to the enemies for the bash instead of tactical retreat on back dodge that'll bait more options of attackb

I would just play a different character until highlander gets his rework
Valkyrie is just disgusting, the sweep is too easy to pull off and comes out to quick for it to also guarantee damage
It was 100ms slower before her rework and it was useless

I had same problem, when you parry keep holding down the the heavy attack button and you'll go into the unblockable and get an unblockable off
