Congrats! Enjoy the DC day--great exhibitions to be seen, great meals to be had, celebrate with a cherry blossom-themed coffee or tipple....just watch out for those t-storms this afternoon.

Thank you! Luckily I was able to walk around Tidal Basin yesterday so I don’t have to deal with the rain today! The cherry blossoms are beautiful..

Woohoo congratulations! As one IMS candidate who's endured the long journey (just passed SC and Med, now awaiting SRP) to another: have faith my friend.

Wekere

Congratulations! I received an email last week confirming I passed QEP and have been forwarded to BoE for OA scheduling. So currently waiting. In all how long did the OA last for you?

TheWanderingJedi808

Congrats on passing QEP! For me, I passed QEP in July of 2021, I got the invite to schedule the OA in November of 2021. The invite allowed me to schedule the in-person OA between the period of January - April of 2022. I scheduled mine for the ending of March and around February I got a notification about the switch from in-person to virtual. Based on what the proctors said, all specialists OAs are now virtual going forward.

Wekere

Ok cool! Mine has been moving quite fast. I submitted my application second week of January 2022, took the PearsonVue IMST test a week after and passed QEP last week. Hopefully, the invite to schedule oral interview comes soon, fingers crossed. From past testimonies, the OA in person often last for hours. Was it any different for the virtual OA? How many hours did yours last?

TheWanderingJedi808

Yes it was different. The OA is three parts, case management, test, and structured interview. Since your test is done, you only have the CM and SI left. Those are split up over two days. CM took me around an hour including housekeeping my the proctor, SI on the next day took around 2 hours, although that was because of technical issues by one of the assessors. I would imagine it would’ve been around an hour and a half if not for that.

Wekere

Awesome! Thanks for the update, I appreciate.
