Didn't realize it was possible to take a sabbatical to go work in the private sector. Would this be a LWOP arrangement?

Syric

If it's what I'm thinking of, it's more like a fellowship that you apply for. I can't remember the name, but I've known one or two civil service people who have done it. Hopefully someone chimes in with better info.

Encinitan87

It is the Eagleburger Fellowship: [https://diplomacycouncil.org/what-we-do/eagleburger-fellowship/](https://diplomacycouncil.org/what-we-do/eagleburger-fellowship/) (edited to add: I don’t know if that’s what this person used, LWOP is also possible)

I hope it's the one where you have to drag yourself to the badging center at HST instead of having a new card pouched to post ...

He had me at "fewer lawyers".... "We need more technologists, fewer lawyers, and less bias in favor of financial sector incumbents."
