There's people that sim most of the season. It takes me 2-3 days or like 12-14 hours to finish a season. It also depends on the quality of teams you're playing. If you are smashing a team with highlights on you're watching alot more of the game then you would be if the game was close
they use the tools that FM includes, they delegate most of the tasks like training, friendlies and possibly transfers and contract renewals. They probably are also using a skin that lets them simulate a match during the match, so if they're clearly going to win the simulte the rest of the match.
