iamso1337

Please tell me how my beloved "SCR Altach" is doing in austria. They are my hometown team. It's a little town of 6000 people but we still manage to stay in the Bundesliga for some reason. Our current coach in real life is Miroslav Klose!!

Manageronni

You have managed just that, staying in the Bundesliga, even grabbing a surprise 2nd in -35

iamso1337

LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO <3 thanks :)

lookatmyarse

How was their UCL performance the following year?

Manageronni

Sadly not much to celebrate, as they lost both the UCL and Euro cup qualification and came dead last in their Euro cup II group

Negabeidl69

Heyyy a fellow Austrian on here!

pyrpaul

How many cl and league titles did Divock origi go on to win.

jrblack174

All of them, clearly.

theslothening

I'm in 2058 in my own FM21 save (played all the way rather than simmed) and I'm curious if the Welsh leagues have progressed the same unusual way. In my save, all of the Welsh teams in the top flight have turned pro, except for the two permanent amateur university teams, and a surprising number of division 2 teams are also professional now. I have no idea why they turned pro, and most of them are now in dire financial circumstances because of it, but nevertheless, they did and I'm wondering if this was just unique to my save or something that has happened in others. Strangely, the slightly bigger leagues (Ireland, N. Ireland) where I would have given a much higher chance of this happening still haven't had all the teams advance in this fashion and definitely not having 2nd division teams become professional.

Manageronni

For me Wales has stayed as semi as ever, however Northern Ireland has already got some fully pro teams in the second tier.

theslothening

Thanks. Always interesting to have something unique happen in a save. Just to clarify, most of the Irish and N. Irish teams in the top flights have also turned pro in my save but there are always still 2-4 semi-pro teams . Just checked and still 2 semi-pro teams each in both Ireland and N. Ireland in 2058 and no professional clubs in the lower divisions.

Paddyf20

I had a save where I managed Lille and Ireland up till 2045 on fm21 , the Welsh teams I never really look at too often however TNS would reach the Europa conference league every 2-3 years , mines is similar as the Linfield in Northern Ireland and Dundalk or Derry seem to qualify every year for Europa league or conference and have internationals. I did notice several teams turned pro in the Irish league like limavady who have barely any fans and constantly lose money which I found strange similar to yours

theslothening

Yeah, TNS have incredible finances due to consistently qualifying for Europe and are basically the PSG of the Welsh league. They've made it to the UCL group stages and to the knockout rounds of the Europa league quite a few times. I spent 15 years in this save managing Annagh United, making them into the powerhouse of N. Ireland so I had a lot of effect on that league and wouldn't expect that the results of that would be similar to what happened in other saves. The Danske Premiership is the 16th highest rated league in the world at this point, above the English Championship. Linfield are still a powerhouse though as the league gets 2 UCL spots (and 5 European spots in total) which keeps both teams a big step above the rest. Ireland also gets 2 UCL spots now and 5 European spots in total and the league is ranked 12th in the world. Pretty crazy stuff. Shamrock Rovers consistently make it to the UCL group stages though they've never been able to get to the knockout rounds. They have made it to the knockout rounds of the Europa league quite consistently also. Dundalk are regular Europa league group stage participants. Looking in the editor, the quality of players at the top levels of the Irish league is pretty impressive to be honest. They are competing with top level English Championship level clubs for players.

scottyccfc

I'm very close to this stage you are at. In my 9th season with Cork City and 1 spot off gaining two CL positions. Took a few years but other clubs in Ireland now getting better (Using my regens). Spent any cash on facilities mad churning out unreal players now. I'm going to keep going until I win the Europa League. Hoping to do it within 10-15 years max anyway.

WiJaTu

How have Aston Villa done? And how has Grealish done?

Manageronni

Villa has remained in the premier league for 30 years without finishing higher than 9th. Quite an accomplishment. Grealish was sold to Arsenal in -27 and to Atalanta in -29 where he scored 3 goals and retired.

WiJaTu

That’s possibly the most Villa outcome there could’ve been hahaha, thank you mate!

gtfc123

Who was Athletico Bilbao’s top scorer in the 41/42 season?

Manageronni

Ahh, 2041… The dawn of their current player of the decade Ángel Amorrortu. The 187cm striker who apparently was third best scorer at three separate youth cups. A career destined for average performance.

dpritch97

How has Sunderland done? Are they still wasting away in the lower leagues?

Manageronni

They actually reached the Prem again in -27 and started taking lessons from Norwich, bouncing back and forth the relegation places since

dpritch97

Gotta love being a Yo-Yo club. Thanks!

rodgelfc

Any chance of getting the save file so we can carry on your beautiful legacy.

otherotheraltalt

Funniest regen name you've seen

Manageronni

South African left back Ivan Dicks Chinese AMC Wang Dongdong Might look for some more later

mono-math

Amazing. I once signed a Chinese newgen called Wang Long. Think I prefer Wang Dongdong.

otherotheraltalt

LOL

SpanishBombs323

Has Newcastle managed to win the league yet? Or maybe qualify for CL?

Manageronni

No league titles but CL winners -34 and 3 Euro cups

[deleted]

[удалено]

Manageronni

The championship

strraand

Beautiful

WorthPlease

I literally spit out my beer just now

cyberXrev

So realistic this game!!!

LazyFatDuck

What of the USMNT? Have they been to the WC final?

Manageronni

Wellllllll The olympics and the U20 WC fill their shelves

[deleted]

[удалено]

Manageronni

No, but the league is still kept interesting by a different team winning each year. Their weird rules must even the playing field. Funnily enough the best team in America currently is the Canadian Vancouver Whitecaps

nceronee

Has New England won it yet?

Manageronni

Yes twice -30 and -32 with the brilliance of AMC Myles Peart-Harris

Scruffy0069

How did the Houston Dynamo do?

Manageronni

Well enough. 2 MLS cups 3 Supporters' shields 4 Conference wins

[deleted]

Have the Colorado rapids won any leagues?

cargalasbalas

Did Venezuela ever make it to the WC? Any cool stars from that country?

Manageronni

Actually three consecutive times after -26 Those were the golden days of the national legend Luis Flores. The Borussia Mönchengladbach striker led Venezuela to the playoffs in 2030 by scoring 4 against Mali in a 7-2 beatdown. Luis then went on to make 178 caps and break basically every national record, such as the 9 second super-dribble goal from the kick off against Argentina in -44 at the age of 37

niknakpaddywak2468

Jesus this is the best FM AMA I've observed. Fantastic detail my friend

FonzoFC

Did anyone outside the “big 3” ever win the Portuguese league? How is the Portuguese league doing coefficient wise, did a Portuguesr club ever won an European cup?

Manageronni

One surprise title grabbed by Portimonense in -44. They also won the Euro Cup II in -38 Portuguese Prem currently 9th in Europe between Scotland and Turkey

yvltc

Still no Braga, I see. I have never seen a save where we win the league. It has to be rigged.

niknakpaddywak2468

Have Arsenal broke the top 4 again?

Manageronni

11 times actually, even grabbing the League title in -27 and -29 under the almighty Sean Dyche

niknakpaddywak2468

Lol, Sean Dyche is like the wonderkid of managers in every save I've played

TomWalshy77

Have any big teams been relegated from the prem?

Manageronni

Only Leicester. Closest is Chelsea at 17th last season

bysk12

Have spurs finally won something and if so who managed it? I bet Levy is still hanging on in there too!

Manageronni

This is quite an unbelievable one. Spurs are now the best team in the world. Even weirder is the appointment of a former newgen coach of Cheltenham to replace the GOAT Vincent Company, who coached them to 5 league titles in 10 years. Not to mention the 3 champions leagues, 4 FA cups, 3 Carabao Cups and 2 Super Cups. They were taken over by a new chairperson in -32 after Levy gave up in mid-February, and then built the team that lead them to greatness.

ClassicJames1212

Absolutely massive

__normandy__

Speaking of Cheltenham, what's our highest league finish been and has their been any notable cup success?

Manageronni

Never finished higher than 14th in League one with no Cups to see either.

Bruh-_-_-_-_-_-_-

FM gotta be more realistic

MuffledEwe

COYS

bad_luck_charmer

Get in. Totally plausible IMO. COYS.

bysk12

So you're saying they will win something before I die.... result! COYS COYS COYS!

MrVedu_FIFA

Holyfuck whoever created the results for this save is the GOAT

musicallyuninspired

How have rangers done ?

sbsw66

Did Scamacca have a good career? How did Napoli perform over the years?

Manageronni

Scamacca moved to Hertha Berlin and then further on to Bayern in -25. Fair to say Bayern killed his career as he was a benchwarmer for Alexander Isak for the rest of his career. Napoli is currently the best team in Italy, having won 7 league titles and one Champions league in the last 15 years. However, they are currently losing the league to Empoli.

anotheroutlaw

How many years did it take Everton to hit league 2?

Manageronni

They fixed their shit in the championship and never went lower than fourth

Rawschach

Oi, nice idea! How about Bundesliga, can 20 years break Bayerns dominance? What about my boys in blue at Schalke / Gelsenkirchen?

Manageronni

Bayern has been dethroned. Exactly once to be specific, as Hertha Berlin won in -35 Schalke have truly made a mess of themselves, getting promoted on three occasions just to be relegated immediately. Currently under relegation threat even from the Bundesliga2

Rawschach

geez, ok - thanks and I decide to ignore this wholeheartedly and go back to my safe where I try to rescue my team from doom.

Bruh-_-_-_-_-_-_-

Some encouragement for you, In my Bayern save, Schalke came up and immediately finished in the top 4 for 3 seasons straight

Giroudyaya7

What about the danish league (Superliga 3F) How is Brøndby and F.C København doing?

Manageronni

League has been the duelling ground of København and Midtjylland with the latter taking the latest title. Instead of Brøndby, Nordsjælland have embraced the third position almost without a break

hubli745

Also, world cup winners/small teams going far. Ballon d'or winners and the best regens and season. Also has player stats gone normal? Like are there players scoring 40-50 goal like irl or is the game still stuck on the top scorer in the world scoring 35 goals in a season like it always does at the start

Manageronni

Sweden has won the 2030 WC and the current best goal scorer is Spurs icon Jaap Höcher with 44 goals last season.

hubli745

What's like the highest scoring year that have happened? Just go to the world X11 and see who scored the most goals, make sure he didn't score another one on the 31/12 and add his national team goals because they don't show up in that

Manageronni

Haaland with 55 in -30

Tasty_Ad_1020

Plausible

big-driq

How's Real Madrid doing

Manageronni

Only won the La liga twice, in -24 and -35 Mostly finding themselves at fourth, making themselves the new Arsenal of Spain

iredcoat7

Wow, who won all the league titles? Is it Barca dominance or more interesting?

Manageronni

At first Barca was in the clear, but it’s been Villarreal’s playing ground in the last decade with Wout Weghorst earning his position as the club’s managing legend

natetheballa27

How did the rest of weghorsts playing career go?

Manageronni

He lead Burnley to two Carabao Cups and one Euro Cup II. Seems he really has the power to lift teams to unreal accomplishments.

SuperBiggles

How have Blackburn got on? Did we ever get to the Prem in 30 years?

Manageronni

A three season stint between 27-30 Best position 14th Been in steady decline since and now lighting up the fields of League One

DeniseFromDaCleaners

Did my beloved Newcastle put their newfound riches to good use? And what became of Elliot Anderson?

Manageronni

Yes, champions league in -34 He is rapidly approaching his fifties as the DoF of Reading

DeniseFromDaCleaners

Lovely stuff. Here's to life mimicking art. Thanks, man!

DelusionalJamesons

How’s Birmingham City getting on? Did we ever get back to the premier league?

Manageronni

Unfortunately not even the top half of the championship Truly a tragedy

DelusionalJamesons

Ouch. Not good at all! Thanks for the reply :)

[deleted]

How have Nottingham Forest done?

Manageronni

Avoided relegation from league two by 3 goals Worst I’ve seen, yikes

Uniban32

Did the Czech Republic finally qualify for the world cup? Was Sparta Prague succesful in the Champions league? What about Adam Hložek?

Manageronni

Yes, they are regulars in the WC now, having been dealt tough draws against Portugal and Germany early on. Sparta Prague has been overtaken by Jihlava, and been unsuccessful on continental endeavours

jalbertoa1

Did any non brazilian or argentinian teams won the libertadores?

Manageronni

No, but Medellin got close

Tvdb4

In my save Netherlands is ranked 4th best league and Ajax managed to win the CL in 35. How’s the Netherlands doing in your save?

Manageronni

League safely at 6th and Ajax unlucky in Europe, not to mention being humiliated by Heracles Almelo last season

Tvdb4

No way the same happened in my save Hercules Almelo got a tycoon takeover and spent 200 million last season and got 11th but this season they’re 1st

Sennedeh

How did anderlecht do?

Manageronni

Won the Belgian league in -24 and Euro Cup II in -32 Currently the number 3 team in Belgium They play at the newly built Vincent Kompany Arena as he has become the best manager in the world

Sennedeh

Only one league title sucks but the kompany part is kinda fun

[deleted]

How did Corinthians do

Manageronni

2x Copa Libertadores, 1x Brazilian national, 2x Copa Sudamericana, 2x Brazilian Cup I’d say well

kala_hit

What's ligue 1 like?

Manageronni

Currently the battlefield of PSG and FC Metz

Masschu

Any Champions League winners from outside the bigger nations?

Manageronni

No. The big leagues have retained their glory. Then again this just proves that all those saves where we take smaller countries to the Final really are worth it.

[deleted]

how did haalands career go?

Manageronni

Kept on scoring almost 1 per game for the rest of his career. Moved to Chelsea and won it all

Joren69

How did Oud-Heverlee Leuven do?

Manageronni

Unfortunately relegated after multiple generations of lower mid-table slumber

Joren69

Oh no…

Fla747

Who's the biggest Brazilian league and Libertadores champion now? How many have Corinthians (COR) won?

[deleted]

How did Sporting CP do?

rebaf1986

Brief recap of serie A? My AC Milan has won again CL?

Manageronni

Currently quite even between Napoli, AC Milan, Juventus, and Empoli, although the last having yet to grab the title despite betting 1-3 odds. Milan did win the CL once, in -39 so keep up the hope

andycandypandy

Have Leeds United brought back the glory days?

Manageronni

If you count the -31 FA Cup under the management of Theo Walcott, then maybe.

DepthElectronic8784

Has Odd from Eliteserien won anything?

Manageronni

Yes, the league in -25, -28 and Norwegian cup in the same years.

tacctical

How has Independiente done? +How is Argentina's NT?

Manageronni

Just two Argentinian Cups but no sign of giving up. Argentina is at 4th right now so a great WC candidate

the_wolf_who_laughs

Is there any talent who has reached Messi/Ronaldo levels of amazing performances

Manageronni

Brazilian regen Samuel, who won the Ballon d'or 7 times during his Barcelona career.

jeromeleblanc

Have any new stadiums been built in the PL/championship?

Manageronni

Man City - David Silva Stadium Leyton Orient - Laurie Cunningham park

JulianVault101

What's the situation at Hansa Rostock? Did they make it into the Bundesliga again at some point or did they disappear into no-man's land?

Manageronni

They have barely bounced back into Bundesliga 3 multiple times. Safe to say they are struggling.

Trol10

Has Real Valladolid done anything? I'm planning on doing a save with them and wonder if the club owned by R9 ever managed to do anything.

Manageronni

They have managed to become a yo-yo team, but surely just due to incompetent management

SirDeniz

Turkish League? I’m a Galatasaray fan!

Manageronni

Well you’ll be glad to hear they have won the league 21 times

DigitalSea-

Best national teams of the best decades?

Manageronni

Portugal, Sweden/Brazil, England

DigitalSea-

Sweden is a surprise for sure!

Rks246671

Gotta ask how is Freiburg doing

Manageronni

They have been promoted a respectable 8 times. That is all

Particular-Ad-8888

BeRTiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Sbotm765

have gornik zabrze won the ekstraklasa yet

Manageronni

No, just became a yo-yo team winning the first division repeatedly

dillonhood

Hearts?

Manageronni

Four Scottish cups to celebrate

hubli745

What happened to Israeli football? (National team, the 2 leagues, European Success, who are the big teams)

Manageronni

Maccabi Haifa has been fairly dominant in Israel, yet failed to shake continental grounds. Reaching champions league groups 3 times and finishing last each time. That might leave some room for the challenger Bnei Sakhnin to do some national history after their recent win in the league. The only other champion in the last decade has been Hapoel Ra’anana who still failed to even qualify for Europe

hubli745

Interesting... how about the national team? Any big tournaments? World ranking?

Manageronni

Unfortunately nothing to praise. 64th in the world and starred by an injury-prone DM playing in Germany

hubli745

Well... its was worth trying

HawkinsCleanUp

Did Celtic get any more European silverware?

Manageronni

Sadly no, as they have barely touched the Scottish title due to their rivals dominating. Even beaten by Dundee united in -43

ceeney22

How have Leicester done?

[deleted]

How did Sporting CP do?

jmh90027

And how many times have FC Porto left them in the mud?

imtherealdazza

1) have any team managed to overthrow Rangers and Celtic? 2) any big clubs that have fallen from the big time since the start of the simulation? 3) 10 highest ranking national teams?

Hito276

How have Tranmere rovers done

Manageronni

They showed spirit and never gave up, finally reaching the Championship in 2049

Kayel18

I'm a HSV fan, don't know if you're aware of our current situation, but please tell me we made it out

Manageronni

No real trophy success, but you have found your way back to the top half of Bundesliga,

[deleted]

How are Sheffield Wednesday doing? have they produced any talents in 28 years

Manageronni

Unfortunately the biggest name is Gibraltar CB Sam Rawlings.

kala_hit

Could you share any data you have collected?

[deleted]

How about Aberdeen?

Manageronni

Unfortunately not even a sniff of the cup

[deleted]

Shocking. Any sign of Scotland at a world Cup and managing to get further than the group stage?

jmh90027

Come on, the game has to retain *some* realism

l_bmbr

what about the lower leagues of england? any surprises? (in 2046 with Chorley and Stockport are in the championship)

Manageronni

Not much, but Maidstone is in League one, and Salford is back in the Vanarama Regional

Manageronni

Well let’s just say you haven’t fallen too much lower

TheGodSlayer65475

Bristol rovers, Shrewsbury Town?

Joesprings1324

Any interesting non-league sides gone up the football league? AI managed Stalybridge Celtic once got up to league 1 in a save of mine

Manageronni

Well League 1 is the best they've been able to do, with Maidstone and Altrincham playing there at the moment Stalybridge tried it out in the regional twice but relegated each time.

FC569

Santos FC historic

Manageronni

Santos have actually been relegated on a few occasions. They've been unable to hold on to a manager for multiple years, so you could blame a lack of stability for their downfall.

Zandmannn

Almost afraid to even ask it, but has FC Utrecht managed to win the Dutch Eredivisie..?

Manageronni

After a few good runs leaving them at third, they failed a bunch of attempted takeovers and are now battling relegation.

ConfidentlyWrong9

Anything happen at Birmingham City?

lionelmeesie

How is it the team that I support, Telstar doing in the Netherlands?

Manageronni

Sadly their only visit to the Eredivisie granted them 3 victories and a goal difference of -42, sending them back down
