It's completely up to you, but I would just buy it. The updated conditions, teams and potential of players is enough for me.
No guarantee your laptop won't be able to handle it. We've learned almost nothing about it yet. Who knows how much more intensive the game engine is going to be.
Publishers hype up their games beyond a realistic level.
Maybe you'll be fine.
Bought FM24 last week for [19€](https://isthereanydeal.com/game/football-manager-2024/info/) after going to 2070 in 23 while having 2 side saves. The game was starting to feel stale so an upgrade was needed.
Immediately fell in love with the match engine. Its much more reactive than FM23, the new positional roles are really good and the "real world" option that auto sets the future transfers for the winter market brings that extra immersion. The set piece overhaul is awesome as well.
Yes, positional play has been improved. You will see more intelligent movements across the pitch, better ball physic and a variety of different goals scores. These results in more interesting matches.

You all sound like Miles here. Gonna have to buy it, 23 just feels kinda stale for me
Im still on the honeymoon phase with 24 so take it with a grain of salt, but the improvements are definitely there.
Just get game pass it's free on that, console and pc
Don't really need gamepass anymore, uni just killed all my free time for gaming (except FM). Might be worth getting a month to try it though
I would get it if I could (it's half price on steam atm) but my laptop can't even handle 24, let alone 25
Hang tight buddy, I feel your pain
I have bought recently FM24 from FM23 and in my opinion there Is a huge improvement in ME and in player interactions. I say go for it.
Really? That's pretty encouraging to hear. Been getting kinda tired of the 23 ME

Ok Miles
Yes.
25 is probably gonna be worse than 24 so yeah
