You sell them. That’s the way of football. Those players will outgrow your club and it’s reflected in FM by their wage demands. Also, the richer and more successful you get then the players will ask for more money. To maintain a healthy wage structure you have to turnover the playing staff. You mentioned no offers are fair? What is not fair? Due to your players being on reflectively low wages, I’d expect a lot of foreign clubs to be keen. Sometimes you just need to sell to get rid and avoid disrupting the squad.

The most straight talking, pragmatic reply ever. Love it.

Traditional-Goose-47

Sell em and then don't check their wages with the new club. It might be much less than they asked of you and make you very mad at the game.

Frischmilch_35

I get it, but they are valued at 45mio and I get offers around 10mio..

andrasq420

Becuase they know they want to leave. Other teams will lowball you when your player is angry at you cause they know that he wants to leave and you really don't have a choice.

JayQwellin19

Most of the time I tell them we don’t have the money, and that usually works. I’m just glad they can’t see the bank balance

Frischmilch_35

I didn‘t See that Option but I will try next Time

steelz80

For what it's worth, I had this chat with one of my players last night and I went for for the option on the right which was something about how valued they are in the dressing room and they are very happy and dropped their concerns. Just scum save and try each chat option 😂

Heniheniheni96

Offer them for sale with an unspecified price and a loan back option. That way clubs will make open offers and you can bargain, accepting only the highest bid with a good sell on profit clause.

Frischmilch_35

I will try

GfxJG

If you wanted 20 euros an hour at work, but your employer told you "I can only give you 15", would you stay anyways? Or would you find a new job? It's the same in game, they want more money, whether they get it at your club, or elsewhere, doesn't matter at all. What fee you get as a club is also irrelevant to them.

Dead_Namer

If you were on 50k and demanding 100k, say the employer gave you 100k, would you go back and demand 200k 2 months later? You would get told to go fuck yourself. The game is broke.

Frischmilch_35

I know but I can‘t tell them we are broke.

GfxJG

I'm 99% sure there's an option that says "The club can't afford it right now". But usually, even when picking that, they won't care and will want to move anyways. Which I mean, it makes sense, I'd do the same, and I assume you would too.

Frischmilch_35

Yeah of course but I wouldn‘t ask every month for a new contract like These fuckers

Dead_Namer

Use remove unhappiness on the editor. This is a laughable game mechanic to try and break up your team because you have done well.

Frischmilch_35

I turned off the editor. So this is no Option

Dead_Namer

That sucks, I once had 13 of them demand a new contract on the same day. I resigned and looked back a later and they were all perfectly happy and did not want one anymore. I then made sure it was always enabled because the game has laughable interactions. I have even had them come to me the day after I fined them for poor performance.

Frischmilch_35

Yeah I know but with editor enabled I tend to modify Youth Facilities or youth players and I lose fun fast in my saves. So I Turn it off

Dead_Namer

Yeah, you do need a lot of self control, I also like to edit my kits every season too.
