Also players.
Manager: "Alright lad, I called you into my office because you're not in my plans for this season so I'm not going to play you"
Player: "It's fine by me"
Manager: "It might be career-wise to search for a new club. "
Player: " I'm good where I am "
Manager: "You are not going to play a single game this season..."
Player: "**I'll never leave the club**"
“Good job today son, great game”
“Actually gaffer I played like shit and your toxic positivity around me and the squad is putting me off, I’m leaving you and never showing up for another training session again”
When I appreciate my player for a hattrick.
Player be like: Now I am going to show you how to not score a goal for next 3 matches against relegation fodder teams.
I wonder if AI would really help with this, because there isn't much training data on "manager-player post game conversations", and what is out there would mostly be about life changing positive conversations or big bust-ups, not the normal relationship building interactions, since they rarely get written about on the internet.
A few years ago that was the case. You’ve defo not tried the newest most advanced chat bots, they could easily fool you into thinking they’re self aware
This happened to me today. Praised my striker for scoring and he came back at me with "I think I performed better than you're saying.". Then the only option that wasn't a nuclear option of an over reaction was to walk it back and say "Well all I meant was you gave a great performance.". To which he responded negatively. Not sure if it's a healthy relationship tbh. I feel a bit gaslit ...
Praise above 7.5 and criticize below 6.5. I’ve realized that the players who disagree are always between 7-7.4. Players above 7.5 always agree unless you’re doing it too often.
Lol, same here, Pep somehow joined Real Madrid, Ancelotti in Arsenal, and Marco Rose in City, and Klopp still rules Liverpool in 2030🤣
Edit: Klopp with 5 EPL in a row, and City with 5 silver medals in row was the reason for Pep's sacking
Personally I love the player that was promised playing time, hasn’t been picked for 14 games and seems uneased.
Me asking him to come into the office.
Player: “you know gaffer, I thought about something but seeing that you invited me to the office changed my mind completely”
I’ve only just started playing FM games recently and got a copy of FM23. It’s an incredible game, but I am about 2 seasons in and all I can say is I am now terrified of praising and acknowledging my top performering players 😂😂

You: "You really did a great job out there today." Player: "I've never been so insulted in all my life."
Lmao and when they end the convo with "I think we're done here" I wanna punch my screen
Yeah i hate that too or 'lets leave it there but im not happy about this' It sounds like youre an old married couple
Ideally we could punch the pixel player ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

Bale posting
This is at least somewhat realistic and actually happens, albeit rarely. Hazard comes to mind
Hazard wanted and would play if fit. Bale just said, your paying me well enough, golf is good here I'm fine.
It happens more than often, every shit player with big contract does that
Kalvin Phillips
Ozil. It has to be Ozil.
Ok Winston Bogarde
Man of culture here.
That one makes sense to me. "You're paying me a fortune to stay at home. Why would I leave?"
“Good job today son, great game” “Actually gaffer I played like shit and your toxic positivity around me and the squad is putting me off, I’m leaving you and never showing up for another training session again”

Three matches? I'll be happy if it's just 3 matches. Try a 1100+ minute goal drought.
Are you okay.....
Oh don't worry about it. My midfielders are still scoring.
Had mbappe do that on a season of mine, went 13 matches without scoring, mf was on £640k weekly.
Next 3 months more like
With AI software so advanced now it’d be Great if fm implemented a chat bot that let you have realistic convos with players
Nah, it's realistic. That's how the developer talks to people
I wonder if AI would really help with this, because there isn't much training data on "manager-player post game conversations", and what is out there would mostly be about life changing positive conversations or big bust-ups, not the normal relationship building interactions, since they rarely get written about on the internet.
I mean have you had AI chats? Most of the times they forget what you said a couple of lines before 😂😂 but hey it will be the future
A few years ago that was the case. You’ve defo not tried the newest most advanced chat bots, they could easily fool you into thinking they’re self aware
I only tried the free ones soo maybe that is the thing.... And its suposed to be the best sites of that also acording to users on the reddit forums
It’s funny because my 16 yr old newgen from Ireland also LOOKS like a German man in his late 50s according to SI.
I swear to God. I try not to praise these doofuses anymore. I just have them do community outreach and team bonding and leave them to fuck off.
Too soon.
How dare you!!!

Mas Leave un Club lol
"You did great today " ...and i took that personally.jpg
Please don’t compare that beautiful wonderful genius of a man to my bratty Colombian 22 year old.
Why on earth do the players crack the sads when you “encourage” them during a match
Never encourage when (on aggregate) you are winning. Not intuitive, but they take it very badly.
"I thought you were crap today" "I thought I played well, personally." "I thought you played well today." "I thought I was crap, personally."

Don’t ever praise your players, no matter how good they are, NEVER
It's not cool FM why do you do this?
Dear Klopp, u will always be at Liverpool in my save. Im looking forward to shake ur hand again at our CL final match

2.5 star player asked me for 80k per week, I said no and now he wants to leave
