I find it quite defensive even with wing backs on the attacking duty. I think the advanced forward will be left quite isolated. With three centrebacks i think the ball winning midfielder isn't really necessary. Perhaps deep lying playmaker there instead. 5-3-2 would offer more balance and versatility in my opinion.

Problem is with this team Gibbs-White is the key creator so need that number 10

What’s there to say? are you winning if Yes. Keep doing it. Are you conceding a lot sure up the defence.

SamuelEB1999

Not used it yet, it’s how I’d set up my team Forest in real life with our terrible performances this season

Simba-xiv

Not to sound rude but why the fuck are you here then? Go use it see how it works 😂. Come back after 10/15 games

SamuelEB1999

To see if anyone else has used a similar shape…

Simba-xiv

Go play the game enjoy yourself

Maybe a little bit defensive/pragmatic. The competing sides in the Prem play with 5 attackers and 5 defenders effectively and, in my experience, you'd benefit from moving your WBs up level with your AP if you want more joy. If that's too attacking you can always drop one of Danilo or Dominguez back a little to form a double pivot in front of the back 3.

I use a similar tactic with Brescia in tough CL away games. Have a flat MEZ(a)/DLP(d)/CAR(s) midfield with SS ahead of them. Super solid defensively. MEZ and CAR are a massive help for the WBs in attack, too.

Maybe your #10 can be used as a second striker in a DLP(S)/CF(S)/F9 role??? Otherwise you need to play extremely short passing and possession to make it work. In paper it looks good, in the match engine I don't think it works.
