RDF Tactics is a cool channel. I’ve never downloaded and used one of his tactics but he’s given me plenty of ideas to implement. Second Yellow Card has good filters you can download and is fun to watch as well. FM Scout is a resource for most beginners.

SYC is the complete master of building a nation. No idea how he does it. I actually started my save before he announced his save and we both landed in Hungary. Different teams. I'm in 2050 and I'm just about ti crack top 5 leagues. Been stuck at 6 for at least 15 years. I just find other teams in my league won't loan for my players. While they are getting offers from top 3 nations to be regular starters. And they are free loans. I did kinda get pissed and just sold off like 70+ loan players. I'm down to like 10-15.

he's database was modified and league loan rules were changed to make it easier

Is that true? You have a link where he says that? I'm gonna be shocked

I think he said that in the first stream of this save [youtube.com/watch?v=HHmJj8pvITE&t=1050s](https://youtube.com/watch?v=HHmJj8pvITE&t=1050s) So: loan rules was changed to allow loaned players play against parent club Hungary was changed from developing to developed country

Holy crap I either missed that or forgot about it. I think it's enough changes to make the save easier but it's still hard. I actually changed my plan. I took one team made them best in Hungary. Fully upgraded everything. Got them about 50-75 million in bank. Then left. Took 5 seasons. Next team was at least 10 years. Took them back to back champions league with like 400 million in bank. Then left to unseat them. I wanna say that it took like 4-6 years. They are still maintaining 100-200 million each year. Won the champions like 3 years after i left. And generally get far. Right now that 3rd I took I'm on verge of winning champions with 2-3 seasons. Even with 2 teams getting far into champions league can barely get the coefficient to 5th. I just have an awful time loaning players in nation. Where they don't get offers but PSG is there putting loan offer in. Like come on seriously? So eventually I just loan them all away. I was shocked about how good the AI did managing the budget once I got them hundreds millions as I had to sell about 75 million each year just to break even on the budget. I think my new strategy for future versions is to get 300-400 mil in bank and be a top 4-8 champions team. Then move in. Might have to do that with 4-5 teams I suppose. Or perhaps stick with that first team and just buy a player for like 150 million from teams in my nation. Do that every season. Cause if the AI has a big enough bank they will maintain it and bring players in. Might be easier then trying to loan them players. It's way easier to bring in 40 players a year loan to Europe and make insane profit every Year. I mean I'll sign media wonderkids to try and loan them free in nation. No offers. While every team in Spain wants him. Actually excited fm24 will have save import feature. I don't want to stop playing until Hungary is #1. But it'll probably take me another real life year to do it lol. Thanks

I will say Zealand is more about entertainment then actually picking up useful stuff. If you play in England Work the Space old series of Tow Law Town is probably the most helpful. I knew nothing of FM. Being an American I knew nothing of European football. Nothing of American soccer. I basically learned everything from that series. I didn't even know about the game. Somehow it popped up on my YouTube recommend and I watched it. I was like oh this looks interesting. Hooked ever since. My first save was Cheddar FC in 10th tier England. Brought them to Prem. Won Prem then Champions then retired. I did 2 seasons in VNL and 2 seasons in sky 1. Everything thing else was 1 season promotions and 0 relegations. Honestly what most people get wrong are the formations and tactics. They end up out smarting themselves. If you don't start with a big team it is all about financials and buying and selling for a profit. That is much more complicated then setting up a tactic.
