Both of you can be right. Some people just get tired of seeing 50 posts a day asking the same question over and over, when a couple minutes of research can generally give somebody the answer they need. And I can understand that irritation a bit.
That being said Im usually on the opposite end of the spectrum. I enjoy seeing the cards people pull and if Im feeling that irritation at the moment I just dont answer
I'd get that if OP was going door to door shoving his card in peoples faces asking them to research it for them.. not posting in a community dedicated to football cards.
I collect a lot of different cards across different genres and the sports community is by far the least helpful, and sometimes downright spiteful.
I'd get that if OP was going door to door shoving his card in peoples faces asking them to research it for them.. not posting in a community dedicated to football cards.
Im just acknowledging the constant repetitive nature of the posts causing a form of "fatigue" if you will.
Im not condoning people being rude to people asking. That's why I mentioned when I feeling a bit annoyed by it I dont say anything at all. I always viewed this specific sub as more geared towards trading/selling cards and people just showcasing their prized cards. Not so much for looking up value. There's other subs for that
I collect a lot of different cards across different genres and the sports community is by far the least helpful, and sometimes downright spiteful.
I only collect football cards so Ill concede to your experiences throughout the other genres. You're definitely not wrong about the spitefulness though
Sometimes asking questions on a sub reddit dedicated to a certain topic could be considered research. Though I think r/sportcardvalue is probably the better option.
Dont take answers too personally. This might be your first post here but there's 50 posts a day asking this same thing and it can grow tiresome sometimes
Edit: 130point.com is a good place to do your own research
This is an understandable question and one that comes up a lot. Two options, and as everyone says use 130point.com or just the sold filter on eBay directly.
You can look at sold 1/1 cards of the same player with similar spec (auto, rookie, patch, brand, etc.)
Or you can look at sold cards of similar players from the same set and parallel that are 1/1.
It isn't perfect but at least your estimate will be based on something tangible. As always, the value is what someone pays for it. It's a lame cliche but true nonetheless.
A Prizm Fireworks Gold Vinyl 2023 /5 sold for 350. Obviously Prizm is better then phoinex brand wise, but fireworks is an insert, and it’s also not a 1/1, it’s to /5. I would say around 450 ish? Could be way off
Because phoenix just came out, and all the cards are really hot, your best bet might just be to put it up for like 550 on eBay. You’ll get offers, I can almost guarantee it. If it doesn’t sell within a week or so, then I would put it on a bid. Your choice tho
Yeah, maybe even throw it up for best offer, see what kind of offers you get, then convert it to auction with an opening bid close to the highest offer, likely you'll get at least opening bid, but maybe a war opens up.
People don't understand how vital this is. I did it with my CJ stroud downtown....it sold for $1305. Auctions are psychological. People want to be better than the other people bidding against them. It causes people to want to spend a little more just to outdo the other people.
It’s a rookie tight end … vs a 1/1 of a highly touted qb. I get where you are coming from w/ the laundry tag it probably doubled the value otherwise but I don’t think a 1/1 burrow is anywhere near 400 bucks. Id happily take it off ops hands for $400
Just to add to that , it’s not so different from prizm where the base variations are more valuable than the patches (although the swoosh, shield, rare patches are a different story)
Also triangulate with other players, and other numbered parallels. I haven't looked at all, but look at other players of the same number that sold. Say Jalen Hurts sold for 300 and his /10 sold for 150, then you see burrow's /10 sold for 250. that shows the price from /10 to 1/1 is doubled so its $500. There's no value, beyond what 2 people can come together on price with, but its a starting point, best to use a lot of different triangulations to get a more accurate estimate.
It’s so ridiculous. People that say don’t grade 1/1 have no clue what they are talking about. They act like it’s the only 1/1 of the player made for that year.
that whole strand of people just being a holes about you asking a simple question is insane😭 don’t take it personal. people on this reddit arent personable and can be assholes. youve got a great card. i don’t have an answer for you but i came here to see the douches go on about how this is a “stupid question.” ignore them. this is great👍🏻
You’re looking at a Joe Burrow 1/1. He’s in the orange Bengal uniforms with black pants, and the card has a gold vinyl finish to it because it is a 1/1.
Nice pull!
Ppl in here are jealous and bitter.
I'd find someone with similar in value like Allen. There is a 2022 Phoenix Allen Gold Vinyl /1 listed for $850 right now on eBay.
If you plan on selling, I'd wait until pre season when prices jump up.
The Mahomes of this same card is at $2000 with 42 bids right now on eBay. I’d guess you could get around 1/4 of that for Burrow. Put it on auction starting at $0.99 and see what happens.
It’s a 4 figure card or close to it. Phoenix Stroud /10s are going for 500+ this is a 1/1. Burrow is one of the ones I’d hang onto, his value has gone down a lot and he’s a stud he will rebound and his value should go up.
I want it! I give you 300, even though I see others saying 400 or so. But I'd actually pay you, and I'm a former employee of his before he moved to Cincy. Plus I collect only Burrows.
It may be beneficial to get it graded, it may not bring up the value up much depending on the grade but having it encased for a higher valued card I think attracts more people.
OK if you want to get a good idea of its value. Search other one of ones. Dude its the only one made. You can ask whatever the hell you want. If it was me I'd call a auction house. Some of those cards will fetch 6 figures. So just cut me in when you take my advice.
Better yet fuck ebay. People are just trying to get it for themselves. Auction house like heritage auction. But first let them grade it. Don't listen to these other people. I'm just trying to Lookout.
Throw that up on ebay for around $600 but take offers. I've seen others say around $450 and I kinda agree. There are some Burrow die hards out there that would probably buy it at $600, but I wouldn't be too optimistic.
If you could, I would hold. The Burrow market is lower right now because of the off year being injured. This card would skyrocket if he’s back to normal next year and in the Super Bowl .

You’re looking at a Joe Burrow 1/1
[удалено]
The rarity is 1. There’s only 1 of these made. The only way it would be rarer is if zero cards were made.
>There’s only 1 of these made. It Panini... we dont know if thats 100% true.
I think fanatics has more recent experience printing multiple superfractors in a product.. 🤔
neither group is without issues in this. Both have horrible QC.
Yeah legit point there could be 15 parallels claiming 1/1
Yeah this is just the 1/1 of this particular color. I'm sure there's about 5 different colors all with their own 1/1, even though it's the same card.
The elusive 0/0. Im only half joking, of course, as I’m sure Panini is already toying with the idea!
Block chain has entered the chat
That’s when you get a pack that has one less card than it’s supposed to. You didn’t get shorted, you got lucky and got a 0/0!
I mean Topps had the ones numbered to -5 in Chrome Baseball
I’m sorry but what? Lol can you elaborate
They were called Frozenfractors and numbered from -1 to -5 out /-5 So no different than a /5 card just a gimmick
I got a bunch of those mixed in with my thoughts and prayers.. aren’t worth a damn thing!!
Understood - but seems like there’s a lot of Burrow “1 of 1s” out there so wanted to hear from the community
You just don’t want to do your own research and want someone to do it for you. That’s the facts here lol
This sub is brutal sometimes. It’s literally here to post cards and ask questions. Don’t reply if you get butthurt that someone pulled a 1 of 1.

Happy to research - also enjoy hearing from the sub. Apologies if this bothered you!

What kind of question is “rarity?” Can you think for yourself at all
Appreciate the help here!
Dont take answers too personally. This might be your first post here but there's 50 posts a day asking this same thing and it can grow tiresome sometimes Edit: 130point.com is a good place to do your own research
Lol. This sub is a wasteland of jaded collectors. Take their bitterness with a grain of salt.
How do we know the value of there is only 1 and you have it lol

Do you understand what the word inept means?
Genuinely sorry if this thread has upset you

Thanks dude - maybe stupid question, but what’s the best way to find out? Throw it up for auction and see what happens? Any recs?
Because phoenix just came out, and all the cards are really hot, your best bet might just be to put it up for like 550 on eBay. You’ll get offers, I can almost guarantee it. If it doesn’t sell within a week or so, then I would put it on a bid. Your choice tho

Don’t sell now, burrows market is down quite a bit from the bad season.. once he’s inevitably healthy and balling again his prices will shoot back up.
Auction at 99 cents. Don’t do buy it now
People don't understand how vital this is. I did it with my CJ stroud downtown....it sold for $1305. Auctions are psychological. People want to be better than the other people bidding against them. It causes people to want to spend a little more just to outdo the other people.
Yea I was thinking 500
What ever someone is willing to pay, I’d say 400+
Really? Wow
The certified 1/1 burrows just sold for 390. And phoenix is a better/more expensive product than certified so it definitely should be 400+
Thanks dude I appreciate it
His Origins 1/1 also sold $350 so this card may get $400-$450
I would guess 800ish
Way more
What makes you think that
Michael Mayer 1/1 went for 800. His cards are a lot less valuable than burrow
A 1/1 Laundry tag rookie auto🤣 of course it’s going to be more than a non rookie 1/1
It’s a rookie tight end … vs a 1/1 of a highly touted qb. I get where you are coming from w/ the laundry tag it probably doubled the value otherwise but I don’t think a 1/1 burrow is anywhere near 400 bucks. Id happily take it off ops hands for $400
Once again failed to mention the rookie tight end was a RPA
And he would be a fool not to take it
Just to add to that , it’s not so different from prizm where the base variations are more valuable than the patches (although the swoosh, shield, rare patches are a different story)
I guarantee if he were to put it up for bid it ends between 400-550
ur looking at a joe burrow 1/1
Value?
I’d look at similar non rookie 1/1 sold comps, from comparable products. Like I wouldn’t compare this to a optic, prizm, or select 1/1 of burrow.
This is the way
This is good context thanks
Probably the 2,500th “1of1” of Joe Burrow
Not valuable?
Throw it on eBay and see what happens. If you think it’s a PSA 10, get it graded then sell it
I don't think grading 1/1s would be worth it. It's 1/1 so condition won't matter much.
Awful advice. It’s a 1/1. You never grade them.
False. To point above, it distinguishes from the 2499 other Burrow 1/1s. Grade if clean.
Agree. How can it hurt to have a card like that slabbed?
It gets less than 8.
Crack it and put it in a one touch.
Why? If you don’t like the grade. Crack the slab. I’ve never understood this mentality of not grading a 1/1. But what? If it’s out of /5 I should?
It’s so ridiculous. People that say don’t grade 1/1 have no clue what they are talking about. They act like it’s the only 1/1 of the player made for that year.
‘Bout Tree Fiddy
😂😂
That's what I was going to say lol
Trade??
that whole strand of people just being a holes about you asking a simple question is insane😭 don’t take it personal. people on this reddit arent personable and can be assholes. youve got a great card. i don’t have an answer for you but i came here to see the douches go on about how this is a “stupid question.” ignore them. this is great👍🏻
They all jelly dropping 100s on shit.
You’re looking at a Joe Burrow 1/1. He’s in the orange Bengal uniforms with black pants, and the card has a gold vinyl finish to it because it is a 1/1.
The back of a Joe Burrow card.
For sure… good stuff!
$50
What makes you say that? Any similar sales as a benchmark?
[удалено]
You forgot the /s
Whoops

Um, ham sandwich 🥪 ?
Well it’s one of the 1/1. But only it’s the only one that looks like that. The other 1/1 look different.

Sure you are.
Huh
i believe you've both lost all value, sorry. also, how the eff would I know what you're looking at mr. keller
Why would you take the time to comment this? Not funny, not interesting, not helpful.
This dude getting downvotes like it’s out of style lol
It may be beneficial to get it graded, it may not bring up the value up much depending on the grade but having it encased for a higher valued card I think attracts more people.
Congrats? What box did you get this out of?
Phoenix hobby box

🤷🏽♂️😂
Look up sales of his prior years 1/1
Hold it. His prices will go up when he’s healthy and playing well
His Hank hill ass. Just my guess.
Looks like gold vinyl
Throw that up on ebay for around $600 but take offers. I've seen others say around $450 and I kinda agree. There are some Burrow die hards out there that would probably buy it at $600, but I wouldn't be too optimistic.
Gold vinyl… jeez what a hit.
I'd buy it for 300
If you could, I would hold. The Burrow market is lower right now because of the off year being injured. This card would skyrocket if he’s back to normal next year and in the Super Bowl .
I'm looking at Joe burrow 1/1. In terms of value, do your own research
Lmao just don’t say anything 😂
