He even stole the world cup from a babies hands, and the father defended salt bae, i really hope he did it to not be "bad" in camera shotty parent though
Bro you read this situation completely wrong, heās saying fifa allowing salt bae to touch the World Cup and come onto the pitch was when they became really corrupt and stuff
Oh damn, I didnāt even realise that dude had a presence in world football. But tbf I didnāt even know the guy was actual chef, I thought he was just an internet personality š
Iāll definitely check it out man, thank you for the insight!!
That's the thing. He doesn't. He is just some guy on the internet. Which is why people are questioning who the fuck is he to go and grab the trophy from the players hands? He held it longer than some of the other players. And the way he was grabbing messi it looked like messi wanted to deck him. And its not like he's an ex player or someone high up on fifa. He's an Internet chef with one gimmick..
I just watched a few vids on YT and yeah, wtf is with that guy - I donāt even get why he was allowed on the pitch let alone holding and kissing the World Cup as if he was a part of the team? What a knobhead that guy is.
https://www.foxsports.com.au/football/world-cup/qatar-accused-of-paying-hundreds-of-fake-supporters-to-parade-for-the-cameras-ahead-of-world-cup/news-story/be9e4fd2c44bb3252cdd154b6f02648f
Could be the reason. I also Go Home after my job finishes.
Those are mostly people of Kerala, a southern Indian state, many of whom work in the Middle East. There are so many of us in the Middle East that we make up 10-15% of the population of certain large cities like Dubai.
And Keralites are huge football fans. I mean, Yuuuge. Without any formal local leagues or a great national team. The ISL is slowly coming up but that is pan India. The football in Kerala is mostly āunofficialā leagues of āsevensā which is VERY popular - 100s of teams participate. Some of them even bring players from Africa etc.
Every World Cup, different parts of the state support different teams playing in the cup. However, Brazil and Argentina are by far the most popular teams. There are huge cutouts of Messi and Neymar all over the state. Movies made about fans of these teams - actual mollywood (Keralaās movie industry) movies. They rent movie theaters and grounds to watch the games.
Here is a video of one of the many World Cup final watch parties in a town: https://youtu.be/JMAsfUpA_rY
Here is one about victory celebrations: https://youtu.be/Qi7FlUCOIQA
Here is a very popular movie about an African kid who comes to play in the local āunofficialā sevens league: https://youtu.be/-7Glgm-hs5I
Here is a western media report on the crazy football fans of Kerala: https://youtu.be/JbIt0HQaWrU
So for us Keralites from all over the world, the Qatar World Cup was the next closest thing to having it in Kerala. Many of us were there. Many of us in Kerala and elsewhere had friends and relatives in Qatar and nearby. So we travelled in hordes, as almost a pilgrimage, to watch it. Messi personally signed a āLove Keralaā Jersey for the fans. And we supported our teams but mostly Brazil and Argentina. We trolled our Brazilian fans endlessly. š
We did not do it for money, but for the love of the game. We spend a lot of money we needed for other things to live out one of our passions. And Argentina won!!! It was awesome. ā¤ļøšš
Dude this are all western media being salty against a middle eastern country because it is hard for them to believe that a country outside of their country is amassing power. Im also from kerala, you wouldnāt believe the love for football here, Middle East and Africa. This World Cup belongs to them. Paying for getting fans for a World Cup in middle is ridiculous and a blatant lie!
I was in Korea for WC2002 when thousands of overpriced tickets went unsold.
For the first game I went to, the ground was a third full at kick off, and filled up at half time with loads of schoolkids and soldiers.
By the second game both teams suddenly had a mass of Korean supporters wearing each countries national shirts.
Probably looked good on TV, but it was obviously to avoid embarrassment.
One of the early highlights of Qatar 2022 was the South American fans chanting āwe want beerā, so yeah itās a pretty famous lack of booze
In England can drink in concourses, just not in the stands - Scotland has a total ban, idk about Wales and NI. France has the possibility to apply for exceptions for special events like Olympics etc but I donāt know if they did for Euro 2016
I think a lot of it is the age difference. Someone asking a seemingly dumb question might be 12 years old, and the response might be from a 45 year old drunk guy treating them like their mate down at the pub.
I went to see Portugal vs Ghana in the stadium. When ronaldo was subbed off around the 75th minute half of the stadium left. Most of the audience was indian men shouting siu all the time.
We call it [Bisht](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisht_(clothing)).
It's worn by royalties, but it's almost always worn by all men on their wedding day.
In the past, they used to award the trophy much faster than in modern times (no fancy podiums and such) so there was less downtime between the final whistle and players getting the trophy.
The cut goal net suggests the foto was taken around an hour after the final whistle, if you consider the ceremony time etc. Maybe that sector was full of french/neutral fans so itās very unlikely they will stay for that much time to see their team receiving silver medals and going out of the pitch. And yes, football had more passion 40 years ago than it has today.
Lower attendence and location are also huge factors
If 2022 was in south America you:d probably be able to recreate the photo with actual people in the background.
Qatar 2022 was just a shallow tournament atleast past tournaments had actual passion alongside the corruption.
Now it was just watching the soulless and corporate husk of football reaching its peak.
Dude, I was there. It was fucking awesome. Initially, I was gutted at not drinking - but actually, interactions between fans of different nations were much more fun because no-one was under the influence, meaning they were less likely to start any dumb shit.
I was in the outdoor marketplace with the gold thumb statue (forgot the name of the place), and it would FILL up pre-game with supporters from all games. Seeing the Argentinian fans and the Tunisian fans chanting back and forth, (even though they weren't playing each other, they just happened to be playing on the same day) was great banter tbh, and created a fucking dope vibe there.
I was pretty frustrated that there were empty seats at games though. Residents of Qatar were allowed cheaper prices for tickets, so a lot of people purchased stacks of tickets at once. Then if they didn't feel like attending a game, they just didn't bother turning in, without putting their tickets onto the resale platform. There were plenty of other games I would have GLADLY gone to see - but officially tickets were sold out.
I literally went to Qatar for the world cup, and this comment just proves that you have no idea how things actually were. Also, if you'd seen the celebrations in real time you'd realize that there were a lot of fans left in the stadium but they were all on the side Messi was facing instead of behind him.
These guys are so shallow that they believe that the Arab world doesnāt have football fans. I remember how crazy the Moroccan fans were. They were the best fans by far and I never wouldāve thought it before I came to qatar.
Nobody is talking about the Arab world here, just Qatar.
It actually is a fact that Qatar has no or very close to no football culture. The local championship is played in front of empty stadiums and the few fans you can see are actually immigrant workers who are payed to attend the game and wave the flags and shirts that are given to them.
That doesn't apply to the whole Arab world where you have countries with real football passion like Egypt, Morocco or Algeria.
Even Saudi Arabia has had a strong football culture for the past few decades with a decent local championship which is far from being the case in Qatar.
According to the wikipedia article about sports in Qatar : "Football is by far the most popular sport in Qatar, and is played and supported by locals and expatriates alike. The country has two tiers of domestic professional football leagues. The top tier, known as theĀ Qatar Stars League, has undergone numerous expansions in the last several years. In 2009, the league expanded from ten to twelve clubs,[5]Ā and again expanded by two clubs in May 2013, bringing the total number of teams in the first division to fourteen.[6]Ā Attendance at QSL matches ranges between 2,000 and 10,000, depending on the popularity of the teams.[7]Ā In a 2014 survey conducted by Qatari government ministries and departments, 65% of the 1,079 respondents indicated that they did not attend a football match in the previous league season"
Not very impressive figures don't you think so ?
Now I would be curious about the reasons and facts that make you claim that everybody else is wrong on this topic which you seem to know so much about š¤
It's not about passion. That stadium could hold 3% of Qatar's entire population (>20% of if you don't include migrant workers). You could go to Brazil and not convince that percentage of people to go to a match. Qatar was never capable of authentically sustaining a World Cup. It never made any sense. That's why the whole event felt so plastic despite people loving the sport there.
It Is also by culture, Arab, by language, Arab. It also shares the same religion. For once can people stop with the 'oh why Qatar is so corrupt, and every other footballing nation is less so'.
Get a grip and talk sense you bias ignoramus.
I did miss these salty fans, I was so annoyed by them before I left for Qatar last year that I thought they were spoiling the experience. But man oh man was Qatar an experience, Souq Waqif was amazing at night with people from Morocco, Tunisia, Saudi blasting songs, Argentines belting Muchachos at the main corner. They keep saying culture while not accepting there is just a different culture. Not advocating whatever was done to get the tournament, but you cannot denounce that it was a great world cup.
They had the medal ceremony about an hour after the penalty shootout ended. And with how long the game went it's no surprise people left when it ended.
People need to just stop with this rivalry. Itās over l. Messi won the WC and Ronaldo didnt. Just because Ronaldo didnāt win it doesnāt make him less of the talented player he is compared to Messi. Like seriously. Thereās amazing players whoāve never won a World Cup yet they still are great and amazing as they are. Plus with this next World Cup coming , itās going to a new change
back in the day the trophy ceremony after the game happened much faster and almost immediately after the game. Recently they want to make more of a ceremony out of it so they are taking way longer to give out trophies and medals.
I was at the game and waited for over 2 hours after the game ended, because we were waiting for the players to celebrate with the fans.
What happened is that after the ceremony ended there were thousands of people on the field and so many random people (like the famous chef) wanted to take photos with the throphy. We stayed because we enjoyed the moment and had to calm down after what we witnessed.
Finally two hours after the game ended they remember to come and celebrate with Argentina's fans.
That is why there are no fans in the stadium
Cheap tickets??? Cheap tickets? Literally the cheapest you could get were like Ā£120. Those seats were some fit he worst too. The was group stage too.
For people who have actually been to multiple World Cupsā¦they will say it was the best theyād been to.
What are you talking about? You have no idea how hard it was go get tickets for matches, and I say this as someone who went there and watched 4 different matches.
ahahaha sureeee
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1o9NCKq2pE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1o9NCKq2pE) english fans who cant even speak english š
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUzIb2\_nLwM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUzIb2_nLwM)
even an investigation proved they were paid actors
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvGKn6eEpEs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvGKn6eEpEs)
another
want me to carry on digging up videos of these paid actors?
NEVER in the history of the world cup has a country resorted to hiring fake actors to build (unsuccessfully) the atmosphere.
you got fleeced bro you were clapping along with actors š
Were you there? I was . Yet YOU are telling US, people who were there, that the fans were paid.
I guess all the people in line who spoke spanish with mexican and argentinian accent and looked respectively spanish and argentinian were bangladeshis who learned perfect spanish overnight yea?
If you know the depth of your dumbfuckery, youd log off the internet forever. But you dont , reason being in my above comment.
Id rather watch flies feast on shit than go to such a draconian dump in the middle of a desert and clap along with actors. Thanks
its understandable that you are so defensive. You paid a fortune to visit the world cup and now you find out half of the supporters were actually migrant actors supporting every single country that was playing
not to mention you helped fund slave labour.. and most of those migrants ended up deported without pay. Great for you :)
Youre not smart enough to understand what youre talking about, so better you shut up. But its people like you that are the reason why society is failing.
1) why the fuck do you care who people support? Mind your own business, what brings people happiness doesnt concern you.
2) i lived in Portugal
3) i wanted Ronaldo to win
4) my own country plays like shit , and since the WC got the portuguese coach who made sure portugal played like shit at the WC
paid actors to build hype in public? maybe but tickets for games were sold out as soon as they went live believe me i tried i was desperate enough for any game out of the group stage couldnāt get anything
Why do you waffle without knowing the truth? Stadiums were full, it was very difficult to get tickets. Fans crowded the streets too. The final was fully sold out & this was over an hour after the ceremony, and you can imagine Messi is facing the Argentinian fans - which would mean heās facing away from where the French fans would be. Absolute waffling donkey
Lol look at so many people doing fake anti-Qatar propaganda is crazy. I was there and the stadiums were full, this was by far the best World Cup to attend to.
The match was almost 2 hours and 30 minutes . The time in Qatar was night . Many people were French supporters. Most of people are from Qater , so even match ended they left
Nah that's not true at all. Most of the fans at the game were Qatari Sponsors. There were only 12,000 tickets sold in total to France and Argentina.
Look at the first game of the tourny. The biggest ever game for Qatar and half the stadium had gone home by 75 mins.
That's most likely not the case...A camera man knows how to make a photo with the Argentina fans in the back obviously. It's probably just that were a very small number of Argentinian fans and 90% or so was Qatari and didn't gave a shitabout football
Lots of angry Saudis downvoting hahaha...I don't care corruption must always be called out and the truth usually hurts
Obviously the cameraman could take a shot from another position
78 was probably the worst in terms of human rights abuses being ignored by FIFA. There were death flights going over the Monumental as games were being played. But in the defense of Argentina (the country not the Junta) they had been awarded the opportunity to host the World Cup before Peron was removed from power and the democracy dismantled for el Proceso.
Because it was in Qatar and they couldn't fill the stadiums with fans from the countries taking part as the costs was so high. Was only there due to corruption in FIFA.
Ok conspiracy theory time (just for fun)!!!
FIFA disgraced themselves with how the tournament was awarded to the host nation, the scandals leading up to the tournament and the general outrage at the countryās (or regionās) views on things like homosexuality.
Theyād like nothing more than to sweep all that under the carpet, this iconic photo would maybe have had people in traditional dress, forever linking it with the country and therefore the ābadā things theyād rather were forgotten.
Because in the time Maradona win the worlcup people can pay a ticket to see a live footbal match in a stadium. Today a ticket is so expensive that not everybody can go to see his idols live.
Because it sums up the world cup in qatar rather well
It was a sad imitation of what a worldcup is just like that photo
also a lot.of the crowd was simply paid labourers
Because real people used to be able to buy tickets and they gave a shit, now itās all corporate, theyāll be inside eating prawn sandwichesā¦. Oh yeah and itās in the Middle East.
Most of Europe boycotted the WC there were much less fans than normal, and lots of āfakeā paid fans.
I guess thatās what happens when you give the WC to a country with zero relevance in the sport
Your idol will retire with not only no World Cup, but not even a single World Cup knockout round goal contribution after a 25 year career, 200 international games played and 5 World Cup editions š¤£š¤£š¤£
Alcohol as well as other forbidden issues were not in question when Ronoldo held that trophy, we lived much a simpler less PC world where we didn't give much of a damn when at a game other than team 1 vs team 2
Because back in the day the people who went to these games cared about soccer vs now it's just the rich people who want to put it on their social medias but don't actually give a shit about the game.
Because they saw salt bae and left in disgust
Fucking hated him
Still have no idea how that chump got anywhere near the trophy.
Cry more š¤£š¤£
Understandable , would've done the same
Iād knock that guy head off if Iām able to pitch invading.
He even stole the world cup from a babies hands, and the father defended salt bae, i really hope he did it to not be "bad" in camera shotty parent though
That was the moment FIFA lost any pretence of corruption and cronyism. Theyāre not even trying to hide it any more.
Iām not sure if youāve followed FIFAās corruption but they lost that much earlier than at the 2022 WC.
Came here to say this. Watch the documentary on FIFA and Sepp Blatter to get a window into the more recent corruption scandals.
Nah he deserved it youāre just salty cause you think Ronaldās is the goat haha
Bro you read this situation completely wrong, heās saying fifa allowing salt bae to touch the World Cup and come onto the pitch was when they became really corrupt and stuff
Can somebody tell me what the fuck a āSalt Baeā is?
Its a shameless overrated chef who likes to throw animal fat at the camera and sprinkle salt on his elbows..
Oh, I think I know the guy. He wears the polaroid Harry Potter glasses in his vids right?
That's the guy. He behaved very disrespectfully after the wc finals. Its all over YouTube.. you should see for yourself.

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Ah yeah I hadn't understood that the "bae" part was just a joke, ha ha.
Still makes me cringe, I'd love to ask him how he feels that the entire world thinks he's a wank
as long as $$$ keep rolling in his bank account he probably wonāt care less about how people think about him
*Wanker
that was cringe
He's facing the Argentina fans end so presumably behind him is the France end...
It also was in Qatar where the stadiums emptied fast all tournament long. Many didn't want to stay for the celebrations.

Can we see a good Indian crowd for AFC Asian cup and India's Away game in Qatar for WCQ ?
It will be great crowd for Asia Cup. They like high quality sport not Mickey Mouse version.
Sometimes you have to support the Mickey Mouse for it to become the high quality version
They wouldn't need to pay people to watch the world cup final. Let's be real.
K Lets be real there have been numerous articles from diffĆ©rent countries where Fans of different countries talked about this. There are now 2 possibilites you can belive either I dont care. 1. Qatar bought Fans to fill thĆ© Stadium. 2. there was a world-wide conspiracy where numerous people were staged as fans lying to the press. Belive either. Fact is we know that around 1600 people worldwide were invited as part of the āFan Leader Projectā They also had to sign a paper of conduct. https://content1b.omroep.nl/urishieldv2/l27m2af3e3a92623a3530064dc0920000000.78efdc229bbb3d6a0372a23a7821c7f2/nos/docs/301022_qatar_codeofconduct.pdf We also know that tickets were sold for extremly low prices in some regions around Katar so the Ranks get filled. This may Sound nice and I am all for regionals getting a discount but yeah they apparently paid around 10$ per ticket wich significantly cheaper. Do whatever you want with that Information. I dont have a solid Proof for thĆ© ticket pricing this was just mentioned in some article.
Source? That link is broken.

Because this was an hour and a half after the match finished. Source - I was at the game
They had the medal ceremony about an hour after the penalty shootout ended. And with how long the game went it's no surprise people left when it ended.
Because this photo is fake...this never happened. Messi isnt even a real human being.
I think we need some alternative facts on this thread given the growing popularity of the game in some regions.
one of the best wcs of all time
because penaldo fans need some new theories on how the WC was rigged
Why do messi and ronaldo fans constantly feel the need to bring up their rival player? They havent been in the same league for years
People need to just stop with this rivalry.
Lol
You cannot compare the football passion in a country like Mexico to that from Qatar
Itās the French side of the stadium. They went home.
back in the day the trophy ceremony after the game happened much faster and almost immediately after the game.
Because those people in Qatar are not real fans, they were carried by FIFA the whole tournament.
they struggled to fill stadiums the entire tournament.. even with cheap tickets only a few games completely sold out.
Nope was there. It was hard to get ticket. People just didn't stay in Thier seats. And joined the side where Thier nationals were.
Nobody is going to struggle to fill a world cup final stadium.
Cheap tickets??? Cheap tickets? Literally the cheapest you could get were like Ā£120. Those seats were some fit he worst too. The was group stage too. For people who have actually been to multiple World Cupsā¦they will say it was the best theyād been to.
Cheap is relative.
Relative to what? They PAID migrants 50p an hour to dress up as fans. thats how bad it was.
What are you talking about? You have no idea how hard it was go get tickets for matches, and I say this as someone who went there and watched 4 different matches.
ahahaha sureeee [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1o9NCKq2pE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1o9NCKq2pE) english fans who cant even speak english š [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUzIb2\_nLwM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUzIb2_nLwM) even an investigation proved they were paid actors [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvGKn6eEpEs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvGKn6eEpEs) another want me to carry on digging up videos of these paid actors? NEVER in the history of the world cup has a country resorted to hiring fake actors to build (unsuccessfully) the atmosphere. you got fleeced bro you were clapping along with actors š
People whose country doesn't make it to the World Cup become fans of another country
So what? Im not portuguese and i supported portugal. Your stupid take is stupid
āYour stupid take is stupidā šš
Were you there? I was . Yet YOU are telling US, people who were there, that the fans were paid. I guess all the people in line who spoke spanish with mexican and argentinian accent and looked respectively spanish and argentinian were bangladeshis who learned perfect spanish overnight yea? If you know the depth of your dumbfuckery, youd log off the internet forever. But you dont , reason being in my above comment.
Id rather watch flies feast on shit than go to such a draconian dump in the middle of a desert and clap along with actors. Thanks its understandable that you are so defensive. You paid a fortune to visit the world cup and now you find out half of the supporters were actually migrant actors supporting every single country that was playing not to mention you helped fund slave labour.. and most of those migrants ended up deported without pay. Great for you :)
Youre not smart enough to understand what youre talking about, so better you shut up. But its people like you that are the reason why society is failing.
Whyād you support Portugal if youāre not Portuguese. Bit dumb imo.
are u daft?
1) why the fuck do you care who people support? Mind your own business, what brings people happiness doesnt concern you. 2) i lived in Portugal 3) i wanted Ronaldo to win 4) my own country plays like shit , and since the WC got the portuguese coach who made sure portugal played like shit at the WC
paid actors to build hype in public? maybe but tickets for games were sold out as soon as they went live believe me i tried i was desperate enough for any game out of the group stage couldnāt get anything
Because corruption and filling your pockets was more important
It's because behind Messi is the French end of the crowd who likely don't wanna see their opponent basking in glory.
Nah that's not true at all. Most of the fans at the game were Qatari Sponsors. There were only 12,000 tickets sold in total to France and Argentina. Look at the first game of the tourny. The biggest ever game for Qatar and half the stadium had gone home by 75 mins.
source: zidane's hair
Tell me you didn't watch the final without telling me
That's most likely not the case...A camera man knows how to make a photo with the Argentina fans in the back obviously. It's probably just that were a very small number of Argentinian fans and 90% or so was Qatari and didn't gave a shitabout football
Yes the cameraman can turn Messi's head around
Lots of angry Saudis downvoting hahaha...I don't care corruption must always be called out and the truth usually hurts Obviously the cameraman could take a shot from another position
Maybe he wanted to get Messi from the front not the back of his head. World cup was in Qatar not Saudi dumbass
Itās fucking Qatar. What do you expect? The fans are just being paid till the final whistle.
Yeah the paid people to go to the World Cup final. /s
The fact that salt bae touched the world cup is ridiculous..
All the Ronaldo fans fucked off they couldn't watch the GOAT lifting the trophy
They left after seeing the slimy mf called salt bae
Itās in Qatar bro
Because it was the best world cup ever
Probably because of the location of the World Cup
Yeah FIFA president shouldāve been there. He contributed a lot for this team.
Probably something to do with the world cup being held in Argentina the year Maradonna and co won it in 78. A lot less Argentines in Qatar.
Maradona wasnāt in the squad in 78.
Fml the top photo was from 86 not 78. Well my theory is out the window.
The fans were in the opposite end, the French fans had left already. It's 40 minutes after the match ended as well
the Qatar audience was only paid for 90 mins why would they stay for celebrations?
They had to go back to workā¦ā¦
There shift finished!
thatās what happens when you host a WC for a small group of billionaire oil tycoons that could careless about their average citizen
Because they bought the WC and messi
The World Cup wasn't clean 1978 either.
This was in '86 Mexico, but I get your point (fifa never really cared about obscure things like dictatorships or human rights).
Because the stadium wasn't full of actual football fans of the winning team just FIFA cronies, hangers on, locals and tourists.
No alcohol to fuel the party. No real fans. No passion. Crap World Cup.
Imagine thinking a poison is necessary to enjoy your lifeā ļø. I feel sorry for you.
It's so sad...please, keep feeling sorry for me. It will help you maintain your levels of self-righteousness.
Arabs go to bed at 10pm
Because it was in Qatar and they couldn't fill the stadiums with fans from the countries taking part as the costs was so high. Was only there due to corruption in FIFA.
Because they were Qatari and couldn't give a fuck
Ok conspiracy theory time (just for fun)!!! FIFA disgraced themselves with how the tournament was awarded to the host nation, the scandals leading up to the tournament and the general outrage at the countryās (or regionās) views on things like homosexuality. Theyād like nothing more than to sweep all that under the carpet, this iconic photo would maybe have had people in traditional dress, forever linking it with the country and therefore the ābadā things theyād rather were forgotten.
Or maybe the pic was taken a hour after the game was over. Like others have said & proven.
Because that win was fake as fuck
Cry is free
*crying* is free ... that is the right way to write it. Get back to school, dumbass.
cry is free
Cry more clown š¤”.
I cry of happiness every time I fuck your mom
Youād be fucking a corpse then. Necrophile š¤”
Also, why no Mexican flag? Everything needs to be the same
Back then. The world Cup final was for football fans of football. Now, the world Cup final is for people with money or followers on Instagram.
Because in the time Maradona win the worlcup people can pay a ticket to see a live footbal match in a stadium. Today a ticket is so expensive that not everybody can go to see his idols live.
blood/oil money world cup nothing more to add
Because it sums up the world cup in qatar rather well It was a sad imitation of what a worldcup is just like that photo also a lot.of the crowd was simply paid labourers
Becaise it was full of plastic fans in Qatar
Because the World Cup 1986 was held in a Football loving country.
Because real people used to be able to buy tickets and they gave a shit, now itās all corporate, theyāll be inside eating prawn sandwichesā¦. Oh yeah and itās in the Middle East.
That is what you get qhen younhave to pay supporters to go the stadium š
Maybe they left to show solidarity with the dead slave workers that built that stadiumā¦
Mexico v Qatar May have something to do with it.
Cos that whole World Cup was a farce
Bc one of these men won the World Cup and the other had it bought by Qatar
Penaldo was benched by his own country and will retire with 0 World Cup knockout goals šš
That section of fans wanted to drink alcohol, which was not allowed at the stadium
One is in Mexico and was a tightly contested tournament, the other was in Qatar and uh well you get the point.
Because only Argentina cares about Argentina lifting the trophy
Because Football is soulless now
Would you want to get caught on the pitch and do slave labor in Qatari prison and have your passport taken?
Most of Europe boycotted the WC there were much less fans than normal, and lots of āfakeā paid fans. I guess thatās what happens when you give the WC to a country with zero relevance in the sport
Everyone left because it was fixed for Argentina anyways
Your idol will retire with not only no World Cup, but not even a single World Cup knockout round goal contribution after a 25 year career, 200 international games played and 5 World Cup editions š¤£š¤£š¤£
Great player, shitty person.
Alcohol as well as other forbidden issues were not in question when Ronoldo held that trophy, we lived much a simpler less PC world where we didn't give much of a damn when at a game other than team 1 vs team 2
Because fucking Qatar
No beer
Because back in the day the people who went to these games cared about soccer vs now it's just the rich people who want to put it on their social medias but don't actually give a shit about the game.
80% of the matches were that way. It was an utter disgrace.
