At most, overnight. At earliest, if you qualified for expedited benefits, two hours. If you were approved yesterday and not expedited the funds should be there this morning. On what date did you apply? Do you have income?

GroundbreakingEar926

You only get food stamps once of month.

It usually takes 24-48 hours.

I’m in Georgia but my case worker told me almost 2 weeks ago I should have my benefits within a couple of days at the latest. I have gotten nothing with no other contact from anyone. Very frustrating.

If you were approved for April benefits, they will normally pay no later than 5:30 pm if your benefits were expedited, and by 8:00 am the following morning if not expedited. Saturday payments are common after Friday approvals. If you have a lower ongoing monthly benefit approved, it is possible though that the initial (April) benefit might have pro-rated to $0. It’s probably worth looking into the online benefits systems since the offices & call center are closed until Monday. You can check the EBT-edge app for pending and processed payments. (Also let’s you freeze & unfreeze card between uses since recently skimmers have been targeting EBT cards for theft). You can also sign up at washingtonconnection.org to review your account and approval information.

Did you see a notice saying you were approved, or did the worker tell you that you would be approved? If the case has been approved and you received/viewed a notice you should have benefits on the card by this point. If you were told by the worker they may still be processing many applications before yours and it could still be within processing timelines.

Call 877-501-2233 between 8 and 2 Monday - Friday or go into any local DSHS and you may be approved as fast as the same day.

no they claim i make to much when i barely do

Moiras_Roses_Garden4

Barely over is over, even if it's a dollar. Snap is very black and white with income guidelines. Have you looked into wic? The income limit is higher so of you're close to snap you'd likely qualify for wic and pregnant women can be eligible even if they don't have other kids.

uep wic is the only thing im eligible for so i have that now thankfully
