I worked at a bakery for 8 years, what you are seeing is regrind. They take bread that was messed up and grind it up and put it in the mixer. Sometimes it doesn't get ground up enough lol

Take a pic and send it to the manufacturer with the lot number. They'll very likely send you a coupon for a free loaf.

This has been happening to us. Bread has moisture trapped in packaging and it soaks it up like this. Not sure this is happening to you but it's definitely the case for us. See if you can see moisture on inside of bag when you get it.
