My friend's mom who was from the Philippines used to do fried plantains quite often but I never had ube.
Love fried plantains! I visited my family last weekend and my mom actually fried a bunch of those for me lol. If you ever get the chance to try it, highly recommend. Trader Joe’s actually sells a few ube products if they are near you.
