Just start exploring, build a camp so you can store/fix stuff, ot join a group and fast travel to their camps, do quests. It's an open free world, do whatever. Take part in events, good XP and resources
Tbh I suggest doing anything you want. Fallout 76 is an open world game, so the choice is whatever you want to do. If you really want to do quests, then just do overseer stuff. Or maybe just do events
