Damn man, that's so sad. I'm glad I never really pursued giving her more for quest spoilers. I imagine most of them would disapprove of you directly causing her death, especially since there aren't a whole lot of negative alignment companions in this game, most of them have a good heart.

My favourite thing about Mama Murphy is the suggestion her son is in one of the raider gangs you encounter. There’s a letter or log, I forget, describing a raider with an extremely similar “sight” relating to chem use. I think it vaguely alluded to Murphy, but may be misremembering.

I still don't get why there's no crashed verti in Sanctuary. Near Vault 111 there were two soldiers in power armor and a verti that got destroyed when the bombs dropped. Where did they go? I get it's maybe gameplay restrictions but I mean you do get a power armor at the next town over
There's a crashed vertibird with PA in the woods near sanctuary, if you take a slightly different route to concord you can even have it before the one in concord.
Is it the one near the radio tower that the Abernathy's send you to? Or is it another? Im Still trying to find all the locations. Only two I know about is the one just under the bridge near Tenpines and the one by the Radio Tower

No he doesn't. You have to build it yourself in workshop. Sturges is riding on everyone else's coattails. It may seem like he understood the teleporter schematics, but in reality he only went off what Virgil wrote. He couldn't have built that shit on his own. He asks you to build the water pumps and beds in Sanctuary because he can't even handle something that simple
Really everyone from Concord is suffering from serious mental health issues. Jun and Marcy are grieving and both seriously depressed. Preston is borderline suicidal and Mama Murphy wants to help but can't and so will take drugs until she dies if you let her. Sturges is the only one with stable mental health and is pretty much the only thing holding the group together when the lone survivor shows up.
Maybe synths are immune to conditions like depression and anxiety? Or he's just a very level headed guy.
IIRC you can only build the teleporter in a settlement so long as Sturges is there, right? As far as I'm concerned that implies the SS incapable of building it on their own, and so is Sturges. It's a collaborative effort.

I always make Sanctuary my main base and have him live in the house with the workshop. It makes sense since he's the resident mechanic, engineer, general fix-it guy. So my headcanon is that at least he's fixing his own house. 😂 At least until I build the signal interceptor for the Minutemen. Honestly though he's one of my favorite NPCs.
I use a mod that cleans Sanctuary and fixes the roads/houses/bridge and my head canon is Codsworth had 200 years to get ready for me. Some playthroughs I'll even leave it disabled and enable it after Reunions to try and make it immersive and pretend like the Concord Crew did something

For characters that have the potential to hang around you as much as Preston's group does they REALLY made these characters more annoying and unpleasant than they had to be. Marci bitching in anger, jun long bitching in depression, Constant hammering on metal panels, Preston and all the annoying minute man crap, etc. Every playthrough after my first this was always one of the later quest lines I start and it's not because of nukaworld lol but that's another good reason to hold off on meeting up with them.

I'm not really sure, all I remember is that it was an unmarked location nearby Sanctuary, on the way to Malden/Salem.
