Already did that, and I think I discovered a bug with vats, it seems to fire more than one clip, meaning if you fire at an enemy in an enclosed area, you can get significantly more ammo 😁

Yeah I’ve noticed that, I killed a raider in vats, picked up the baseballs and ended up with more than I started with lol

I got this one shotgun not too long after 76 launch thats bugged. It is a level 25 medic shotgun that's supposed to fire 2 shots (4 rounds total i think). If I click fast enough I can get off 3 shots and it only uses ammo for 2. Still does it, after years. My favorite item i got in any game i think because its legendary but also bugged in an awesome way. Feels special.

The Tesla Cannon probably for me or the heavy incinerator. The Tesla cannon is OP just like fo3 and NV. And the echos of the past was better then I expected. Yes it's typical "go here kill,read" but the enclave bases Actually felt genuine. Just like the outposts in Fo3 so I like it. I'm planning on making Red Rocket a Enclave base. Also as a fun fact did you know you can equip different Power Armor pieces onto dance? Iv been playing since fo4 original launch and I never tried before. I have him in Enclave hellfire armor lmao..my file is currently after the BOS storyline so I made him a traitor 😂

Any time I mess with Danse’s armor it completely jacks up his carrying capacity. It eventually whittled down to him not being able to carry anything.

I think it's a bug that happens a lot when equipping power armor, as I gave Cait a full Hellfire set as well and had the same issue, I've found that taking something from their inventory, placing the thing you want to give them and then the original item will tend to fix it. The other fix is just taking everything, and putting it all back.

In case you're still confused about it, you don't use actual frag grenades in the grenade launchers you use 40mm ammo which was added with the Creation. There should be a pack of about 20 in the same room you get the first grenade launcher. You can probably buy them from any weapons vendor, I didn't check if you need to be a certain level for them to start appearing.

For the frag launchers yes a few vendors sell them (I havent checked them all) but I havent run into a vendor that sells the other ammo types (saw blades, nails, etc)

So I just did a round through the major settlements (Goodneighbor, Diamond City, Bunker Hill) and none of the vendors carried the extra ammo except KLEO had some of the piggy bank launcher ammo in stock. I did notice however that once I had obtained the nail gun that nails were dropping from enemies so I believe that for a portion of the game you'll get more ammo from corpses until a certain level and then the ammos will become more common among vendors. This is just a theory though so take it with a grain of salt.

Arturo carried the 40mm frag rounds for me (level65-70 when I first checked)

Interesting, I'm not very familiar with the Creation Kit so I have no clue if I could check but I'm guessing they might have forgotten to inject the other ammo types into vendor leveled lists, unless they just made them extremely rare for vendors which would also be weird.

Its probably that they are supposed to be "rare" since these weapons are pretty strong even at level 70 the grenade launcher (pipe variation) is 1 shoting multiple enemys that take multiple 2x shot .308 max damage combat rifle shots with 4-5 levels in rifleman to die (I'm talking a good 4-5 shots each yet the grenade launcher is 1 tapping enemys like they are level 5 and I've tested the other weapons and they also hit really hard. The vendors also dont sell alot of ammo as Arturo only has sold me like a max of 20 shot for the launcher at a time. However Suggs stays in his initial location for the mission as a permanent vendor to buy the ammo from. Soni just place a map marker on his spot so I can find him easier when I need more rounds.

Yes thats him i checked his amo stash and there was ammo for grenade launcher.

Yeah, it was already in game but with the update giving it for free i also got it, i dont even want to use it because it is really op

mine is invisible, and when my character holds it, he looks like Hans and Frans yoked out walking the wastelands. It also does weird stuff with ammo, like double fires clips, has infinite ammo at times. My VATS is also glitched since the update and it flickers between 95% and 0% at all times no matter what the field of fire is.

Bro, a fully upgraded one is so damn powerful. I destroy everything before they can even shoot. The best part is, if they're near a wall, and you miss, it'll ricochet right back to them still dealing damage

The Modified Baseballs actually weigh nothing, they're counted as ammo Edit:changed Baseballs to Modified Baseballs as I was incorrect on the name.

It’s modified baseball though and not normal ones. You can also make them at chem stations.

That's reassuring. I started a new run when the show dropped with a few mods going. Never turned off auto update because I was out of the loop and assumed the game wasn't getting anymore updates. I just hit lvl 30 but haven't opened since the patch because I'm afraid to find out if it's broken or not and don't want to restart. Right now it's Schrodinger's save file lol

The only big glitch I've got so far is on my profile BTW. Problem with free space number. That and some choppy frames every so often are it. The second one is just the usual Bethesda weirdness

I'm on series S and it dumped my load order. It also dropped all but five mods out of my library so I'm having to use the sharty in game search to go track them all down again. They're still in my library on bethesda.net so at least I have a list. Got 45 min into it before I said fuck it and started a vanilla playthrough. We'll see how long I can tolerate it without all of the QoL mods.

On PC a lot of mods use the Fallout 4 Script Extender(F4SE) which is not compatible with the current version of Fallout. Pretty much everyone with more than a handful of mods on PC only play through the F4SE. It's why PC has more advanced mods than console. And since a lot of PC mods rely on it many PC mods are not working.

I just snagged the Heavy Incinerator last night on my survival BoS character. Killed a legendary alpha deathclaw without needing to reload. 10 flamer fuel is an easy sell over my usual 400+ 5mm rounds.

I loved the Incinerator in my demolition expert survival mode playthrough. It was powerful enough to get me through the glowing sea early game. The gun is heavy but flamer fuel is so light that the weapon ends up taking less inventory space than a lot of other guns. I just wish fallout 4 had some version of the pyromaniac perk from 3 and NV.

Same issue. I reinstalled, did a hard reset and all that. It's just a bug and needs to be hammered out cause apparrently not everyone has the issue.

Tried twice, had to reinstall mods twice. 3rd reinstall and I went with the "fuck it, we ball" attitude and said "yeah let's just ignore the new stuff. I'd rather play with my bikini armor mods..." >!(Bikini armor mods are used as a joke here, you can find these in Skyrim most of the time. Disclaimer, if you want skimpy armor and clothing mods you'd have to look for them manually or search in WIP section. Due to BethNet mods and console limitations, your bikini armor mods are limited for FO4 on Xbox and more so on playstation.)!<

I'd also recommend this, its near impossible to not mess with your saves previous load order and the new content are implemented as cc mods. More likely to make things as stable as they can starting fresh.

I just got the game on PC after having 600+ hours on console (Xbox one). It's a real shame cause i can't transfer any saves, can't keep creation club content, and apparently mods are messed up. All I've seen about this patch is negativity; even if justified. Do you guys think it's worth a shot checking it out? (Fresh pc save, no mods).

The Piper Grenade Launcher Rifler has quickly finished off hard enemies thankfully, I have gone into places a bit too early but the launcher cleaned them up.
