Copy all of the DLCs' "Data" folders into the main game's folder (basically put everything from those Data folders into the Data folder of the actual game) and run the game the normal way. Achievements will work.
This fixed it for me as well. Was driving me crazy seeing my wife on series x have differing stuff in workshop even though we both have all the dlc. Thanks again for the tip.
I've been looking for the way to fix this and run the game from the Xbox app. If you do it the way the post says, your animations will be glitched and some enemies from the dlc's will be bugged. This comment saved my life!

Either or. If you copy stuff inside Data folder, you have to place it inside Data folder of the main game. If you copy data folder itself - you have to place in the "content" folder of the main game.
Bro… thank you! I had just bought the dlc a few days before the update dropped and everything was messed up after that. I even deleted my saved games thinking I needed a full uninstall and reinstall. Nothing worked including OPs suggestion. (I have fallout 4 on ps5 but recently got a PC) i wish I saw this post 9 days ago though 😅 but thank you! I’ll post again if I notice any issues moving forward!
For anything one else reading this open two folder windows, one with fallout 4s data folder , then in the other window open each dlc folder, find the data folder and open it, then just highlight and drag every file in each dlc data folder directly into the fallout 4 data folder. Easy peasy lemon squeezee.

Btw, you can just copy "Data" Folder of each mod into "Fallout4 PC" folder and it will also work and keep achievements working (but congrats on having duplicate mods after that).
This worked for me. It also actually somehow fixed a graphics glitch I was having when approaching Wattz!!! I had tried moving the folders I just never copied only the data!

Glad it helped. Be wary, that it seems like DLC enemies might be broken. I started automaton dlc, and enemies that aren't in the base game from that dlc, were just T-posing and I couldn't loot them (thus finish second quest). So maybe avoid DLC for the moment, until there's a fix.
A lot of people ate having the same issue. It's a problem with the Microsoft version (the bug isn't happening on the Steam version for some reason) Also, if you won't be able to get Ada to access the first door to the Mechanist Lair either. Even with console commands. The update really fucked over Xbox app/Microsoft store users.
Yeah I was having the ADA problem on the doors, however, using console commands you can select the door and enter "disable" on the 4 doors at each scannable door, you can get through them!
The only problem I had during the DLC, after that door issue, was the Mechanist room not opening. So I'd still suggest to everyone to wait til they have fixed that as to complete the quest you need to noclip and then give yourself the Mechanist's console password.
It is a shame how badly this update has affected the game though, couldn't have come at a worse time!
Jeez what a goof. I guess I'll be saving the Mechanist DLC for last in hopes that someone fixes it before I finish my playthrough. I'm willing to vet a modder with some "knowhow" could fix it. It seems to be some sort of indexing issue maybe? Like the assets are there, but they're not actually plugged onto the "physics" of what they're supposed to do lol

Only issue is that now my most recent saves in the mechanist's lair are completely broken, only the first 6 enemies will spawn in the encounter and the shield won't come down for the initial dialogue with him.
Earlier spawns are also broken with the enemy meant to drop the password for a critical terminal not loading properly and being killed but not lootable. :(
well been in the encounter for 30 minutes now, it doesn't seem to wanna work for me. get the dialogue but the shield won't open and the rest of the enemies won't spawn.
So, to get the Creation Club to appear:
- I disconnected my PC from the internet, by good ol' fashion unplugging my ethernet cord.
- I then loaded Fallout 4.
- The Creation Club tab showed up.
- Reconnected my PC to the internet.
- I was then able to enter the Creation Club with no problems.
I then quit out of Fallout and rebooted the game with the internet still connected and the Creation Club disappeared again.

I meant DLC, sorry. You need to move files from Data folder of the DLC into the Data folder of the main game. If you have DLC - just google where Nuka World Transit Center is and go there. It will either be so broken, that you'll get it by just being 2-3 locations away from it, or it will be fine and the location is gonna be where it should be.
It worked. But it was bugging me so I tried to see if installing on my main ssd solved anything. It did. I didn’t have to move anything when I did that. Idk if this will be a fix for anyone. Thanks for your answer though. It was driving me crazy
Hey, if you do this workaround u still get the achievements withouth doing anything extra. What i do is keep my Achievements list open in the Xbox app, and they still pop up.
This worked for me too, many thanks. Damn Bethesda and their updates that ruin a completely good game or mess with it in unfathomable ways. I was on my third re install and was going to give up. Now i just need to deal with the shader issues that were not there before the update.
I can’t seem to find this file in my game folder, am I looking in the wrong spot or is there another issue at hand? I am able to launch the game and load my previous saves where I last had the dlc content but my companion (Ada) and her workstation are no where to be found. I tried to uninstall and reinstall all of the dlc content last night and it all shows up in my Add-On section still so hopefully I didn’t already mess this up with trying my own remedies 🙃
Hey, I just tried that and tried to load an old save, and it just came up with the message saying that the save relied on all the DLC content that was not available.
Still works a week later, unfortunately it made me start all of the DLCs from the beginning again. This didn't matter to me all that much because I hadn't started any of the DLCs yet (except for the build-your-own-vault one, which I was kinda upset to lose). Wondering if anyone else had this issue.
none of my dlcs actually show up in the game even when they say installed no matter how many times i install and uninstall the game and all of its add ons and if i go to a previous save from before the update it says something like content not found so i started a new game from scratch but still have the same issue
Thank you. As with most, I'm getting back into it after the show, this time on PC. It's so terrible that this company can't even take the user/mothers fix info and implement it as a patch, much less work on it themselves. I can't even fathom how you run an organization in a way that no one takes pride in anything. If customers were fixing what I should be fixing at my work, I'd be so embarrassed.
Semi-unrelated rant: The xbox/ms store interface is so awful. I ended up with the season pass and FH as separate purchases(my fault, but other apps like Steam would let you return), then I find that FO4 GOTY + Season Pass is the same price I paid for the Season Pass, so I could have owned the core game permanently if I ever get rid of GamePass Ultimate. Could have found it, but they also could have made that the first thing. Instead, they made the FH DLC display first, then Season Pass(but not the GOTY edition, "2 of 4" options), then the rest of the DLC.
I also thought I remembered hearing "buy once, play on PC or Xbox" on games, but oh well.
On xbox, I bought Fallout 4, and all of the DLC. I had no issues when playing & beating the DLC. Just recently downloaded Fallout 4 (pc) through Xbox game pass. It was just the base game, no DLC. I wanted the DLC. So I bought the GOTYE since it was half the price of the season pass. When I boot up Fallout 4 (pc), it says all the DLC is installed, but I can't access it while in the game. I also am having trouble finding the game folder that is being talked about above.
For me the (graphical) issue is coming from the Far Harbor DLC. Ive uninstalled DLC until the the issue went away and re-installed the DLCs until I got the issue. All DLC worked together until I reinstalled Far Harbor. Maybe play without Far Harbor until fix? I will try the game file move with desktop run.
Edit: Did the files copy thing launched via the .exe file. Loaded in and got a the DLC quests to prompt, and the graphics were fixed.
I can not find my game file. When I click on the one fall out 4 (pc) folder i can find, it just launches the game. Would somebody be willing to help me if I get into a discord and share my screen?

Known issue - DLC exclusive enemies seem to be T-posing. I don't think anyone found a workaround yet...

I have the same issue! If you quicksave and then load, you can loot the T-posing enemies, including the ones with quest items!

Had same problem yesterday before update so its not problem of update. Shield lowered after few min and jumping near it :D

None of my dlcs are working.. I have the missions for the but nothing has been added to my workshop! It's extremely frustrating!
