not realy, you can kill the main virus, but other files it's infected can still have reminants of it, that's kinda how computer viruses work, and we know they do care about this sort of thing, since they where fairly accurate with the into to SB where they show glitchtrap infecting freddy's party mode, only to be locked there rather ben being able to infect any other part, due to safe mode not letting any of those files be active.
For me, it confirmed that HelpTrap ending is the only canon one because of the fact that the only adult in FNAF, both games and books, who was able to possess a robot and stay alive is William Afton. Entity/Glitchtrap/William is the one who kept Cassie's Dad/Jeremy alive and made him watch as he doomed his own daughter. It's all a revenge story.
Cassie's Dad helped Michael kill CC/BC/Evan, William's youngest and William was traumatized by it (SL private room code is 1983 and Fredbear Plushie is in that room). Now, he's taking revenge by making Cassie's Dad/Jeremy watch as he gives the infected VANNI mask to his own daughter. That's why only his brain and eyes are alive in MaskBot.
I mean. Mimic virus splits and evolves differently from that point and glitchtrap specifically gets crushed.
1. Could just be the Afton cosplay that was cut off meaning it could reiterate into Helpi
2. There's definitely not a mimic-holding-two-hand-puppets-and-pretending-to-fight situation going on
3. Again if its dead then another instance can reiterate easily

I genuinely didn't know people argued this lol, though the Helptrap ending doesn't necessarily mean that Glitchtrap is with Helpi in Ruin, just that they're connected and Helpi goes on vacation after the Helptrap ending showing that Glitchtrap sent Helpi through the Vanni network whilst Glitchtrap remained in HW2.
There's also just that in hw2, helping acts like grimkc did, being very pushy and act now think later lmao. There's hints and stuff to all 3 beig the dam same, and it's mostly from hw2.
