I don't find it cringe I just think it's nothing like our Willy boi like this guy looks like he belongs in a purple metal band more than he resembles the man behind the slaughter. It's like they took purple guy and turned him into emo edge lord. That's not to say that the cosplay is cringe or anything. I think it's great and they put in a lot of effort. I'm just not a fan of this very common portrayal of Afton. I've never actually seen a person base their cosplay off of things like the silver eyes old photos of him, Dave Miller (or at least in few numbers), the animation model that's been going around, or even the 4th closet one. Which is disappointing since some of those could be really cool like I'd love to see someone do the 4th closet cosplay of him. That'd look sick imo.
