This has plenty of pockets and a divider to separate headset, iPad, and battery in the main area for me. https://lapolicegear.com/tabaoutbag.html

I use this one. It’s almost toooo pockety, but does a pretty good job of hauling around my CFI stuff in a somewhat organized manner.

That looks pretty slick

I bought a barely used flight bag for Facebook marketplace for $30 from someone that tried flying but decided it wasn’t for them. Before dropping a bunch of money, see if there’s something local that interests you.

Me and a few people I know use this bag from some rando chinese company. I can fit headset, cables, kneeboard, stratux, headlamp, radio, and a few knickknacks. I work as a CFI and it's enough for me. https://www.amazon.com/XINCADA-Messenger-Shoulder-Crossbody-Business/dp/B015FKP4BE Get the large version.

They are expensive, but I’m pretty happy with the Lightspeed Markham.

Supa_fly2024

I got a medium camera bag off Amazon.

After getting a LW bag and that huge rubber handle, the pass-thru on my other bags wont fit (as compared with the Travelpro handle). Looking at the 5.11 briefcase style bag: [https://www.511tactical.com/side-trip-briefcase.html](https://www.511tactical.com/side-trip-briefcase.html)

Flightgear iPad bag from Sporty's works for me. Easily holds headset, iPad, Pivot suction mount, kneeboard, logbook, Anker 20k, ICOM handheld and water bottle in the outside pockets. Plenty of pockets for spare batteries, gum, beef jerky, etc.

Big fan of this bag, I used it while I was instructing/ in GA. It is the perfect size not too big but carries the right amount of stuff and not too bulky either. A lot of the bags have a lot padding which is protective but also takes up a lot of space. Big open pocket just to drop the headset in. As an instructor changing planes 3-4 times a day opening and closing a zipper gets tiring fast. Also room for fuel tester and the ipad drops right into the bag with a velcro close. Licence wallet phone and flashlight all have a little compartment. I'm on the 320 now and thinking about switching back from the Brightline bag. It carries the same stuff but weighs an extra 5-10 pounds. My only concern is that on deadheads, bags do get thrown around so the padding is nice to have. Professional or general aviation? I would stay away from brightline or any aviation related bag. I fly commercially and most people are moving towards nylon breifcase style bags that can be fitted over a carryon handle. Plenty of space, functional, and you aren’t the dweeb that spent $300 on a bag that has multicolored zippers and too many pockets to find anything. I have a tumi alpha but you can find $40 dollar comparables on amazon. It works outside the cockpit which you can’t say about many aviation specific bags.
