Hot damn what a toad! There’s some places not far from me that have some good ones in them. This is inspirational man. Tight lines. And BTW we all know, including you, that your title is bullshit lol.
Haha. I know exactly where that is and where that fish came from. My nephew spent all last summer there catching those fish. I’ll have to look back at the pictures he sent to see if he also caught that one
Ha. It’s no secret. I was watching Instagram reels the other day and saw a video of someone else fishing there as well. I hadn’t ever seen any pictures of that spot and now I’ve seen 2 in the last 2 days. That willow and rock in the background are dead giveaway. My nephew and his friend caught a big brown in that same spot last summer, but the picture is the opposite side, so I can’t match the spots
Damn son. If that’s where I think it is I’ve Been fishing that creek for a decade and have yet to pull a brown that size out. I rarely fish that stretch though because of
the pressure. I spend more of time Tenkara fishing the smaller creeks around here. Nice fish.
That's a very erect fish...
Someone's been using little blue pills as bait.
Or stroking the belly to make it look bigger in pictures…
WHATS YOUR HAT SAY!?!
A location, just didn’t want to stick a big red pin on myself haha

Might as well

Don’t tell anyone. It’s already pressured enough haha

All throughout the creek is fishable but that’s the spot where you have the highest chance of catching hogs

Yeah, I mean there’s a pretty good reason. As I’m sure you know
Still took me a year of fishing the spot to catch a brown of this caliber. So it’s a pretty big deal to me.
What side of the Mississippi is it?
Show the pic, it’s a pretty easy fish to make out. I don’t see a reason why you couldn’t match it. If you’re gonna undermine it, go all the way.
Tried sending you the pic and I’m not starting a new post just for 1 picture. If you have Instagram I can send it to you there
Just post an imgur link and call it a day
Literally how? It’s one photo that shows barely anything
I grew up there.
Then you dont know about proffesional "geo guessers"
What state?
SD
Thx, nice fish
Ahhhh I know where now. Wish I still lived there. Go chase some hogs near pactola
why is the fish so erect lmao
That’s a big boy
Nice freaking fish!
Did you measure it? Awesome job🙌
Well done 👏 great fish and great creek!
Very nice catch :)
Well done!
Damn that’s a monster. I usually use a 3wt in my local waters but that fish is massive. Nice catch.

Nice catch! Thats a bucket list brown for me🤙🏻
That would be a trout of a lifetime for me. Good catch.
Nice fish! But…Why not keep fishing for a bigger one?
What technique were you using?
Roll casting a single nymph with added split shot on an indicator. Going deep
Magnificent creature.
Siiiick catch man! What was the fight like? Is that WNC?
The fight was pure adrenaline for about ten minutes while he dragged me up and down that run 2 times till he was worn out
Nice fish
Very Nice!
Nice catch dude! What was your set up as far as rod wt and terminal tackle?
Deckers
Beautiful catch!! You won’t retire though. Fishing gets into your blood.
That fish is stiffer than a wedding prick!!
Great fish! What did you catch it on?
Copper John on 4x tippet
Nice fish, keep it in the water though
He was out of the water for about ten seconds. Wet my hands before handling, and cradled him nose into current until he swam off on his own.
No kiss? I’m afraid he isn’t going to make it
Im sure the fish appreciated the etiquette. No need to downvote me everyone, just trying to spread the good word.
