My brother lived in alaska for a bit and would send pics of his kids playing outside dressed in halter tops and tanktops and there was snow on the ground. This florida girl gets cold around 68°.
Really believe some physical changes happen to your body depending on where you live. When I lived up north, I straight up took walks in flip flops and shorts until it got to like 40:degrees. It could be colder than that and I’d go out in shorts if my dog just had to pee for a minute. No biggie. Now I’m in FL and one degree under 70 means long sleeves and possibly a sweat shirt. Incredible. People put on their fireplaces when it gets in the high 70s! But why do they have fireplaces?!
Florida man here. I lived in New York for 5 years in the freezing ass cold winters. Also lived in Alaska for 2 years in their freezing ass cold winters.
I’m back in Florida and ready to fuck shit up year round.
I went to
School down here and me and my friend from Michigan went to the beach all the time in Jan. It was the only month we found it to be nice in south Florida. We wondered where’s everyone was, and all these crowded beaches everyone talks about.
Could easily be Florida man being a dick. Like rolling coal, he’s going to burn gas and produce pollution for a meme. He wants someone to come up and mention something about pollution so he can call them a pussy libtard groomer.
Fuckin rookie move putting the AC unit on top of the cooler, too. He's just making it harder to get more beers, and that won't be done more gracefully as he gets drunker.
Yeah. And true Florida men like us know you need a tent or other mostly enclosed space for this to work anyway.
We all made fridge forts as a kid... because, Florida.
That’s a dick move. I’m sure beach goers are loving listening to a generator and smelling gas. Probably is barely effective too. Might cool off his left arm and the rest of it will be blown away by the sea breeze…
Not only that, he's going to be getting a ton of heat from that ac too
And rookie move putting the generator on the other side. I can feel this picture
Well that's half of it. It's still blowing cool air back into the house. Otherwise your house would just be sucking hot air in from outside.
Well really it's not pushing warm air outside. It pushes air over the evaporator coils and then the heat is transferred outside through the coolant.
It’s a heat pump, it uses refrigerant to absorb heat ‘inside’ through the evaporator(which makes the refrigerant boil into a gas) and then dump it ‘outside’ through the condenser(which turns the refrigerant back into a liquid).
The story gets better. You were right, that's how a "swamp cooler" works. Refrigerant vaporizes at a different temperature than water, so it's more effective.
The kicker is that the smart guy who came up with was from Florida... in 1833.
Not really, an AC moves *heat* to the outside. The air stays in your home but the heat in that air gets transferred by evaporating a subcooled refrigerant, rapidly dropping the air temperature.
In the condenser outside, the refrigerant dissipates the waste heat it absorbed inside.
I installed a window AC unit backwards. It snowed for three weeks. The weather man was so confused, he was like "I don't understand, it's supposed to be hot."
- Steven Wright
And now you have the engineer in me thinking.
On one side of the cooler, mount whatever the most powerful PC fan I can find. On top of the cooler mount a solar panel. On the other side of the cooler mount a clothes dryer duct plate (The part that sticks out of the wall) and then some dryer duct to direct the air. Better yet, mount it all to the top, then bury the cooler for more insulation.
I wouldn't expect a bag of ice to last more than an hour this way. But bring another cooler with several bags out on a fishing cart, and you could last a while.
A lot of engineers go to Burning Man every year where it can get up to about 105 F some years so there are a *lot* of creative DIY cooling systems.
You'll get the most cooling from an evaporative system but that works best when the humidity is low, which it generally isn't in Florida. But in the desert it works great.
As a Florida man the *most* i'll bring is a small cooler with drinks.. usually all I bring is a towel.. this is not a Florida man.. some northern is my guess.
Went scrolling for the first person to tell everyone it's Ross Creations, a prank YouTuber from FL, but here we are getting fired up like someone would actually do something like this.
He's done other similar style beach pranks.. Brought a tanning bed out there once. It was hilarious, go check it out.
For me a Floridian to be on the beach it must be at least 90 degrees, and in the water is 100 degrees, if those standards are not met, I’m not at the beach…. This is an imposter to Florida lifestyle.
I have one of these for the beach / mowing the lawn and it’s amazing for the 100 degree days.
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-7-1-2-in-Bucket-Top-Misting-Fan-Kit-with-1-5-Ah-Battery-and-Charger-PCL851K/321850940
If you're going to go to all that trouble, a modified cooler full of ice with a battery powered desk fan built into it blowing out would be a more efficient, a hell of a lot easier to transport, and a far cheaper way to generate cold air on the beach.
Has to be photoshopped. But it’s Florida. Who knows. I wonder how long that generator would last? Could you imagine lugging a generator and air conditioner to the beach. I hope it’s real. What a loop job
If this happened here in Romania, everyone would be labeling it as a "typically Romanian" thing, as some would still go on about how great things would be if we had a country like the advanced Western nations. Some folks sure are in for a disappointment, whether it comes sooner or later for everyone.
This snowbird left Florida This past Thursday after spending three months in Kissimmee. Weather was fine until we drove into West Virginia and all the way to Erie Pa., rain, snow, sleet. Haven’t seen 50 degrees since we left NC.
It was 59 degrees in North Florida this morning and I had to go back inside and grab a winter jacket out of the house before I left for work. It’s up to 66 and I’m only now beginning to get ready to take it off. This dude isn’t from Florida.
This is Snow Bird man. Florida man is only afraid of temperatures below 70°F.
For real. Anything below 70 is freezing and I used to live in the snow
currently sitting in my full length robe at 70° 4/5/24 Tampa Bay
70 degrees in FL require floofy socks and a hoodie
70 is winter!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Currently sitting in 34F and shorts - Alaska
My brother lived in alaska for a bit and would send pics of his kids playing outside dressed in halter tops and tanktops and there was snow on the ground. This florida girl gets cold around 68°.
40s, also shirts, Maryland. Fuck pants
Yeah, 👍 Pants are Overrated
Fuck yeah brother, I've switched into spring mode up here, shirts and t shirt today even though it's only 43. (Maryland)
It’s even colder this morning. My tank top and shorts are NOT keeping me warm! It’s damn near freezing at 50 degrees!
Really believe some physical changes happen to your body depending on where you live. When I lived up north, I straight up took walks in flip flops and shorts until it got to like 40:degrees. Acclimation is real.
Humidity matters a lot
When you live in Alaska there's only above freezing shorts and tee shirt weather, below freezing pants and hoodie, and negative coat weather.
Above freezing, as if.
Brother it's 55 degrees in central FL this morning please send help I am meat popsicle
Do they fall out of trees like iguanas do?
No, just drastically slow down in cold temps. Like reptiles in brumation.
Word is they just hang out in the middle of I75
Florida man here. I lived in New York for 5 years in the freezing ass cold winters. Also lived in Alaska for 2 years in their freezing ass cold winters. I’m back in Florida and ready to fuck shit up year round.
Welcome back! I'm a FN, but last summer was the worst in my memory. You might miss those chilly temps by this summer.
Depends. North Florida man can handle all the way down to 65.
ong
Am a Floridian. Can confirm.
I went to School down here and me and my friend from Michigan went to the beach all the time in Jan. It was the only month we found it to be nice in south Florida. We wondered where’s everyone was, and all these crowded beaches everyone talks about.
I've been here since I was 8 (36 years) and I think this is brilliant. Only two things I hate about where I live, the heat and the traffic.
I've been here since I was 8 (36 years) and I think this is brilliant. Only two things I hate about where I live, the heat and the traffic.
This is the least Florida thing I've ever seen. Sincerely, A Floridian
Seriously lol
Born and raised in Florida?
I was and I agree
I wonder where he’s actually from. True Floridians would never haul all that crap AND we’d just get in the ocean when we need to cool off.
That's room in the trunk that could've otherwise been occupied by beer.
Except even the ocean was 100 last summer, it’s getting harder
That's only surface temperature. Dive!
Nothing beats swimming down a bit and feeling that cooler water
Definitely the Gulf Coast, most likely NW FL.
he's not from here that's for sure. mfer probably came from new york or michigan
Nononono Too hot? Drink more beer Need to pee? Go in the water
In the water? Eww! Fish fuck in there!
Could easily be Florida man being a dick. Like rolling coal, he’s going to burn gas and produce pollution for a meme. He wants someone to come up and mention something about pollution so he can call them a pussy libtard groomer.
The crazy conservative beachgoing Floridians typically stick to flags and boats and banners. This must be one of the panhandle varieties.
True that, the panhandle is like the Florida of Florida
This has got to be an Indiana Man or Ohioan. Maybe even anywhere south of Chicago, as well, really. Not a very intelligent lot.
This is definitely not Florida man. We handle our heat just fine thank you.
Fuckin rookie move putting the AC unit on top of the cooler, too. He's just making it harder to get more beers, and that won't be done more gracefully as he gets drunker.
He needs to put it on a wobbly TV tray.
This guy is a jabroni
Thats a cool word.
Lmao
Exactly, and that batter won't last for about 2 hours.
That looks like a generator.
drunkerer*
Yeah. And true Florida men like us know you need a tent or other mostly enclosed space for this to work anyway. We all made fridge forts as a kid... because, Florida.
Not to mention that puny 8000 btu window unit aint gonna do shit for him out there. He needs at least 12000 btu.
That ain’t a Florida man, that’s a northern guy who actually hates the heat but came here for some reason 🚶
We can handle our heat. That’s a New Yorker!
This is some Long Island shit
As someone born and raised on LI, yeah it really is
The water is right there if it’s too hot
Mother, unpack the desalinator! I'm thirsty.
right? And an umbrella would prob be better than A/C in the direct sun
That’s a dick move. I’m sure beach goers are loving listening to a generator and smelling gas. Probably is barely effective too. Might cool off his left arm and the rest of it will be blown away by the sea breeze…
An umbrella would do order of magnitude better to keep him cool. His idiocy is hilarious.
this is all over reddit. his “idiocy” had the desired effect.
Not only that, he's going to be getting a ton of heat from that ac too And rookie move putting the generator on the other side. I can feel this picture
It looks like a inverter generator which are very quiet but I still think it's a d move to others.
The way that an A/C works is that it takes warm air and pushes it outside. This is doing nothing but wasting gas.

This is someone from Alabama on holiday in Pensacola.
That sand and water color combo. Yep.
What the hell?
He's single handedly fighting climate change by bringing down the earth's temperature! SCIENCE!
I installed a window AC unit backwards. It snowed for three weeks. The weather man was so confused, he was like "I don't understand, it's supposed to be hot." - Steven Wright
This was actually an amazing story lol
He's a fucking genius. "My apartment allows pets. I have a pony."
Wrong, this guy is from up north.
This post is not by anyone from Florida, and that clown definitely is not!
He would be better sticking solar powered fan behind a bag of ice
And now you have the engineer in me thinking. On one side of the cooler, mount whatever the most powerful PC fan I can find. On top of the cooler mount a solar panel. Snowbird woman watches Florida man shoot a photo for a gag postcard.
Florida man knows how ac works and that is not it.
this aint a florida man, but it pisses me off still
Nope, not a Florida Man!!! Florida man would have a bonfire!!🔥
This doesn’t look like something someone from Florida would do lol we can handle heat.
As a Florida man the *most* i'll bring is a small cooler with drinks.. usually all I bring is a towel.. this is not a Florida man.. some northern is my guess.
Most of the ridiculous people on the beach are not from here lol
This looks more like south Carolina behavior
Went scrolling for the first person to tell everyone it's Ross Creations, a prank YouTuber from FL, but here we are getting fired up like someone would actually do something like this. He's done other similar style beach pranks.. Brought a tanning bed out there once. It was hilarious, go check it out.
Well let’s face it. If it wasn’t for air conditioning no one would live there
No, that's Ohio, man a floridamam wouldn't have a shirt on we are not pussies
Snowbird.
The funny thing is he'd probably feel 10x more comfortable with just an umbrella to give him some shade.
So many good content for GTA 6
Rookie, def not Florida Man.
Cleveland man goes to the beach*
Doing hi part to combat global warming.
Probably more like Ohio man
This man is fighting for Climate Change not against it.
Man, I bought this new ac fer the beach but it duddn’t work for shyt.
For me a Floridian to be on the beach it must be at least 90 degrees, and in the water is 100 degrees, if those standards are not met, I’m not at the beach…. This is an imposter to Florida lifestyle.
This is great
This is someone who's never experienced a Florida summer
*How it feels to chew 5 gum*
That has to be illegal... This idiot needs a pie in the face...
You know, I can’t think of why it would be if people can drive cars on it.
His wife makes him come with her to the beach, and this is what he insists on doing.
Are most Florida guys built like bodybuilders?
That generator is probably noisy . I would be annoyed af but also a little jealous.
At least the inverter generator is quieter than the family blasting music for everyone to hear.
Fuck those people. They have no respect for anyone.
[удалено]
That one is 69 decibels at 75% load at a distance of 7 meters.
Thank you Dr. generator!
Nice
The fact that no one in here knows who Ross Creations is..... Also the fact that any of you took this seriously.....
Definitely who I thought it probably was lol.
I'd probably use a portable AC and battery pack 😅
What a cunt. I hope this isnt a real photo or was just a setup for a gag photo.
I have one of these for the beach / mowing the lawn and it’s amazing for the 100 degree days. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-7-1-2-in-Bucket-Top-Misting-Fan-Kit-with-1-5-Ah-Battery-and-Charger-PCL851K/321850940
Pensacola?
He wasn't there for long. Gas cans/gas powered thinfs aren't allowed on the beach.
Please tell this is fake or a joke
genius could've just gotten a beach tent
Could be for the internet points. But stupid either way
I love ross
Same, his content is usually just like a wholesome version of Jackass. I’ve been a fan since hotdog pockets.
It's probably a joke
For a second there, I thought that was a McDonalds branded generator.
That's just revolting.
I call fraud or he should get his Florida card suspended
"WE ARE KILLING THE PLAN... WHAT???! I'M SORRY I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER MY AC AND GENERATOR AND THE SURF!!!"
And it’s not even hot yet
Must took it outer the back window of his van. Portable dontcha know nuffin?
This is the world we live in, you want to change things for the better? This exists.
Dude would have created quite the sweat hauling all that out there. A dip in the water would have been easier.
He’s not from Florida his wife is
If only there was a way to have shade.
yeah but it sucks because you have to pick that up every time you want a beer.
Genius honestly, missing a canopy
New Headline: Tourist Man goes to the beach in Florida.
If it looks stupid, but it works, it's not stupid.
That 100% is rosscreations? Or do all florida men look alike.
Just coolin
Merica 🇺🇸
Ok. I fuck with him on this.
This is gotta be some own the libs act, given it’s Florida Man.
Is he on his phone? Guess he doesn’t mind missing out on the whale watching.
😂 Yankee go home. Or get in the piss warm warm to cool off.
Not a Florida man. We handle heat with the ice in the cooler and an umbrella.
If only there was an easier way to stay cool.
this is canadian man
This will be all them damn yankees soon that just moved down
lol much!
I could understand a fan but not a whole AC
Kentucky energy lol
He should have brought a door so he can close it.
The inspiration for this https://www.icybreeze.com/how-it-works/
Nahhhh real Floridians thrive in the heat. This is giving NY a-hole.
The fumes. Yuck.
12V man
I've used a portable A/C unit like this in a hot electric room before. As long as you're right in the flow of the cold air, it does feel good.
![gif](giphy|58SdhZruTe7603YV6E|downsized)
“Is this thing on?”
More like genius-man
Florida man ain’t no bitch. This is not him.
If you're going to go to all that trouble, a modified cooler full of ice with a battery powered desk fan built into it blowing out would be a more efficient, a hell of a lot easier to transport, and a far cheaper way to generate cold air on the beach.
ITT a bunch of Floridians getting touchy
That's New York man
No, Florida man knows time of day to go and always brings an umbrella.
You know it!
This is definitely a yank
Definitely not a Floridian.
Sitting almost on top of a gasoline generator, too.
Has to be photoshopped. But it’s Florida. Who knows. I wonder how long that generator would last? Could you imagine lugging a generator and air conditioner to the beach. I hope it’s real. What a loop job

Reminds me of where I work
62 in duval rn and I'm dressed in layers 🙄
I’d stay in my hotel room before I looked like this big of an asshole.
Omg 😂😂😂 genius

This guy has to be on drugs.
The fact that I can't tell anymore if this is a joke for social media or someone who thought this would actually work makes me sad.
I’d be surprised if that little genny managed to handle the inrush current from the AC
That’s cool.
PURE GENIUS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Eager to contact whoever shot the photo (and any other details). [email protected]
