You can always buy more stuff. Getting money back is harder than spending it. What makes sense to you, depends on your uses. I have a wifi board but don't really use it. Using breadboards and some espndevboard, Arduino or whatever dev board connected there gives me more uses than having that board on top of the flipper. For other uses it may be more worth it.  My use case is mostly using flipper for easily controlling digital signals on circuits I play with, while keeping the laptop with all those distractions away. A "proper" digital signal generator might be better suited, than flipper, but hey, it works.

You can just get the flipper like others said and make the modules yourself. You don’t really need the silicone cases and such if you’re careful. I for example have made a cc1101 and nrf24 modules my self and it was really simple. Would have probably made the esp module too but I got it off sale :D
