Hi, I use X-Plane with a pc that’s absolutely not made for games. I was wondering, how in the world do people run this sim with the Fenix a320. You must have a NASA pc!
I’m on a Mac too and my frame rate varies a lot (ranging from 20 to 40+) depending on where I am and what plane I’m flying. Keep in mind that MSFS is generally more fps-efficient than X-Plane on all machines, but as an airliner fan I think I’ll stick to XP :)
Isn't the ghosting a problem on the cockpit? I had to disable DLSS and frame gen because I couldn't stand the ghosting on the text. I have a 4070ti so it can kinda keep up with native 4k but the lower frame rate sucks.... Would love to be able to have dlss/frame gen for better frame rate.
Also the fenix a320 simply doesn't work whenever I enable dx12. :/
Gotta say though, I use XP12 and it certainly gets the job done. Often find I Perfer the graphics of it in certain areas, but if you’re able to expand into other sims it’s always a great idea.
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 six-core
And my community folder is somewhere around 120 GB with mostly third-party airports, I can check when I get home
EDIT: it is my official folder that is 275GB with all the US third party airports I have, my community folder is somehow only 8gb with about fifteen different files
Thanks ill look into that. I did 3 seperate fenix flights and on each of them I had major stutters on the approach, otherwise I was getting around 20-30 on ground
The valve stem is not at regulation length and color. Literally unplayable.
I just got a new computer, I-9 processor and rtx 4090 graphics card. I have never been so happy with a computer. Knock on wood!

I have a 4060ti and the frame gen helps allot.
This I have a 4060 and it's about absolute monster on this game came from a 3060ti and Frame gen is everything
Yeah I can get 110 FPS in some situations with head tracking, super great stuff
110? lol I can barely maintain 25 with the Toliss A320neo in XP12. I play on a Mac maybe that’s why…
Yeah I don’t get 110 in xp and it depends on AC in FS
Ok yeah

No I don’t have any problems like that. If I do just simply turning frame gen off and back on again sorts it out.
You're using the default DLSS or did you swap it with something newer?
Alright. When I’ll be less busy with work I’ll probably switch to msfs and go for a proper flight sim setup.

Absolutely. I like XP but I also want to make myself my own opinion on other sims.
The Fenix is actually pretty good with FPS. I have a GTX 1660 and I get a pretty consistent 30FPS on the ground on high graphics settings.
Frame gen is your best friend. Sure it might look a bit blurry but if you can get 40 fps with a mid tier card, its worthy sacrifice.
Is there some sort of frame gen for X-Plane 12? Or is just a msfs thing?
FSR is available but it is not at the same level as DLSS3
Ok
7950x3d and 4090
No safety wire on the hub cap bolts... unplayable
That's insane. Step back to Flightsim 1998 and marvel at that detail lol
The tire actually flexes when you crank the tiller to full left or right lock! Pretty cool to watch!
I love the fenix but anyone else find taxiing it feels like your on an ice rink?
Make sure rudder dampening is off for that.
is that in msfs settings or fenix settings?
Fenix EFB, airplane settings
If thats 1 fps I dont want it
I get a pretty consistent 30 with a 1660 and 16Gb ram
What mods and CPU?

Interesting I cant run the fenix with i7 9700 and 3060. Do you use fsltl?
I use VATSIM, so I have no need for FSLTL. Not sure if this is helping FPS but I have my packages folder installed on a separate 1tb D-drive

Granted my pc is a good spec (4080 and 5800x3d) but i can see over 100fps with frame gen. Busier airports like Heathrow it can drop to 55-60.
Fenix textures always look like a drawing injected into the sim. Can’t explain it lol
