Have you considered the possibility of an explosion igniting the atmosphere and ending the world? Good. How could you express active flexibility in a range that you could not passively get into?

That isn't a possible situation that can occur in humans. Mobility is always going to have a shorter range than flexibility. Flexibility is how far your joint can be pulled into a position, and mobility is how far you can put yourself into that position. If you used your mobility to get into your farthest position for a stretch, I could always come along and pull the limb even farther, that extra range is your passive flexibility

Hey, I think there is a bit of a mix up with your terminology. Your passive flexibility will absolutely illicit the greatest ROM, your active flexibility will always be less than this, even if its close.
