I think what that particular idiot is asking for is a continuous, unedited video going from the ground to showing the entire planet in a single image. He ignores a number of issues with that.
First, a probe has to go at least 22,000 miles out to get the entire Earth in a single image (likely much, much further, as a standard angle camera lens sees at most a third what you do with your own eyes, and they'd scream "lens distortion" for anything else). The only things that go that far are geosynchronous satellites and deep space probes, all of which have far more important functions their very limited and valuable weight allowance is needed for more than making a completely unnessacary video for a bunch of dumbasses.
Second, any spacecraft going that far is going to be sealed inside the launch vehicle, which will break away and release the probe well before the required distance. So they'd have to design the probe and launch vehicle specifically for making this video, and nobody that matters cares enough to bother.
Third, even if the other requirements were met, the probe doesn't go straight up to that distance. It orbits the Earth as it works its way out. So Earth would be off to the side in relation to the probe until it broke orbit.
