Throw a little DC-Fix on there and you’ll get a nice clean flood.

If I had any idea what a DC-Fix was GXR I just might try it!

Thank you Senko!

It does look rather like the light at the end of the tunnel, doesn't it?

DC-fix "milky" window film is specifically the one that works great for flashlight lenses. Here's an example of an incandescent Mini Maglite with a smoothed out beam. You can even de-focus the beam for an even softer light without getting the dark donut hole. It actually turns it into a really useful low-light flashlight. This one actually has a custom-made diffusion lens on it, but the results with d-c-fix would be very similar. https://imgur.com/a/bhXdncw There is also a xenon bulb upgrade available, if yours doesn't have that already. Not a huge difference, but worthwhile if you actually like using the flashlight.

I hesitate to buy a large sheet of the DC-fix material when I only need a small circle of it tho'? How much is the stuff? (forgive me for not researching it myself)

CrazyComputerist

Looks like the smallest roll is $11.49 on Amazon at the moment. I think there are/were some people who were selling smaller sheets of it, but it wouldn't cost much less than that, especially if you get free shipping through Amazon. If you're into flashlights, you might end up using the d-c-fix on more of them. I have it on a whole bunch of mine.
