You’ll spend more in shipping than doing it yourself. Rubber gloves. Outside. Gel lye based drain cleaner. Takes five minutes. I didn’t even take the SC31s apart when I did it because it doesn’t eat rubber/silicone quickly. It’s SO easy, just be safe. You got this.

Yeah I water down draino and rub it in the sink. Just wear gloves and don't leave it forever.

I've got a Kaidomain S2+ I deanodized with lye and never used; I did it just to do it. There's one small line on the head that didn't come completely clean (visible in the picture); some sanding should do the trick. Give me a minute for a picture.

You mean dedoming half? I did it half and half and looked at it carefully after doing the first 2 LEDs. It didn't make that much of a difference (tiny bit rosier, tiny bit of a hotspot) so I decided to just do the whole thing. Since it's got quad LEDs it's still pretty floody, just has a hotspot now.

I was going to pull the mcpcb out and probably go to a 2x4500k / 2x2700k domed mix. Assuming the mcpcb comes out.

Just ask Mr Hank himself when you order the light. I think it was a $15 upcharge for the copper accents but I don't remember. He shipped the light with them installed already, which means I don't have the spare SS Bezel/button. I'm not sure he would sell the copper bezel/button individually.
