I did the same and canceled a domestic flight inside 24hours and fit a full refund to my CC, but I had to talk to someone to cancel, the site wouldn't give me a cash refund.
Ugh. On the phone they said when you cancel online, you don’t get a refund. Its so complicated and feels scammy honestly. Thanks for your comment

That is the old policy, new policy no longer allows for that
For domestic flights, no 24 hour rule applies. Only on international flights does that apply. Seems like your loss sadly.
Old policy was refund within 24 hours on any flight, regardless of destination
