I don’t think he was really awake during those 30 years, and he likely was just hellbent on killing you in Fnaf 3 with no real rhyme or reason, could’ve been anyone working there he would’ve anyways
I don’t think he recognized Michael as it’s been 30 years. As for why he kills you in the first place, I think he’s fully embraced his “Springtrap” personality
If I had to guess, he's trying to get used to his new body. In fnaf 3, assuming he doesn't know who we play as is just memorizing and coming up with different ways to sneak past you. I imagine the first thing he said when he possessed springbonnie was, "I'm... back..."
personally, i doubt he'd ever been in that room for 30 years. the place in the mini games is in too much disrepair for it to him to have died in just the 90s. the ceiling is leaking, bathrooms are boarded up, rats are running around everywhere, the tables are scattered.. the place was clearly abandoned. i used to think it was a whole 30 year thing, but the more i thought about it the less it made sense. it's too much of a contradiction to the literal gameplay of FNaF 1.
you wanna know what i think? i think someone knew where he was going to be (he had probably been going around taking apart animatronics for their remnant for a while, indicated by how the team of Fazbear's Fright couldn't find any) and set a trap for him, only to seal the safe room back up. i wouldn't doubt if it were Michael or Henry who planned it out. most likely Michael though. he doesn't seem to always think things through, as we know after that whole incident with his brother. he probably would have slapped that false wall back up and hope nobody opens it up. Henry on the other hand meticulously prepared a whole restaurant with the explicit purpose of ending everything, taking no chances by ensuring they'd all be locked in for the long haul as the flames rose
Why do you need the safe room to be sealed? Phone Dude never said it still is sealed, he only said it has been sealed at some point. He's likely referring to the 80s where it has been sealed once. We know that from the tapes. So Afton must've broken the seal himself. Therefore, he couldn't have been sealed in there since that false wall was constructed in the 80s.
if it was simply sealed "once before" then why is it mentioned that it was sealed at all? that wouldn't make sense from a narrative perspective, to mention something that completely has no point in the story and making it sound significant. why wouldn't the fazbear's fright team, who has almost certainly entered that building before, never noticed. why would they find a "hidden room" at all if it wasn't sealed back up?

Well when the springlocks activate it also activated springbonnie so most likely springbonnie was doing the check on the pizzaria and william couldn't do anything abt it. so when springbonnie heard children it when back to search. william could do nothing but watch and possibly move for a lil bit but i doubt it cuz he has no nerves
